The things in her basket were simple; Jam and bread, a lot of bread. Why she needed the bread was for her own reasons. Tove couldn't cook, and the only thing she could make without burning the house down were sandwiches. Sadly, her diet of sandwiches may hurt her in the end.

The neko strode down the isles and headed to the checkout, she stopped in front of a tall brunette. Tall people... She thought to herself. Tove loathed the tall, she was extremely jealous of how they were able to reach and look down on others. As she thought more and more about height, the tip of her tail twitched in annoyance.

Tove sighed and gritted her teeth as she aggressively placed her items on the checkout counter; Four loaves of bread and one jelly jar. "This is all." She muttered, her Scottish accent thick yet understandable.

"Eyo! If you don't mind me asking, may I take a picture?"

Abe continued working his line, smiling as the customers went on their way until he heard someone roughly setting their items in front of him. He turned back- then looked down; it was the same girl from before.'Cat ears? I wonder if their..' He shook his head; he was at work and needed to focus. He begun scanning her items, noticing that it was all bread and some jam.'D-Does she know how to cook?' Before he could ask the usual question; "Did you find everything you needed," she already answered it in a thick accent.

As he finished scanning her items through and begun setting them in bag, Abe decided to make some small talk."You known Miss, we have some sourdough bread in stock. If you butter it up, grill it and add a few slices of cheese and ham, you can have a nice sandwich." He smiled at her and set the bags beside him,"It'll be seven dollars Miss. Hope you have a nice day,"

Tove ran her fingers through her bangs and let out a small and irritated sigh. This man thought it would be nice to give her a recipe on making sandwiches? She didn't need his help, in fact she didn't need anyones help other than her own. "I don't need it." She hissed. From her wool cardigan she pulled out seven dollars and slammed it onto the counter. "Go f*ck yourself, giant."

Tove took her bags and glared at him and turned away and angrily stomped off. She had no idea why she was mad, it was probably one of her many moodswings, but oh well. The neko was known to be constantly aggressive towards people and this scene was no different to her.

"Mommy, can we get candy too?" Sela asked, sitting on Lillian's shoulders as they walked into the store. Red eyes flickered up to red eyes. "Candy? What in the world does a girl like you need candy for?" she asked curiously with a raised brow. Lillian knew Sela didn't really eat candy, she was actually a relatively mellow girl so the request was strange. The navy haired girl hardly ever ate sweets in general, even for a four year old. She was a damn smart four year old too. She's been trying to walk and talk pretty much the day she was born, so everyone was baffled by how articulate and coordinated she was. "Because I'm so sweet?" she cooed innocently as she smiled brightly down at her mother. Lillian sputtered out a laugh, "Nice try Little Rock. But maybe we can anyways."

Grabbing the girl under her arms, the blond picked her up off her shoulders and put her back on her feet. What a suck up! Whenever she wanted something, it was always her trying to play up her good qualities. Taking hold of Sela's hand, Lillian and her daughter grabbed a cart and walked around the store to get a few things to hold them over for a while and build on what they already had. "Mommy," Sela spoke up softly, standing right next to her mother as she looked around through the shelves. "Hm?" Lillian hummed as she glanced at her from the corner of her eye, "What's up baby doll?" Sela kicked her small foot against the linoleum, twirling around her ankle as she looked down at the floor. "Where's daddy?" she asked shyly, her face a little sad.

Lillian stopped dead, frozen in place at the sudden question. She had heard it a few times, but it was always so shocking to hear. Hear heart wrenched painfully at the question as she looked down at her daughter. Placing the jars of peanut butter and jelly into their cart, she knelt down and cupped the girl's face in her hands a moment before embracing her. Sela felt her eyes start to water and sting. She loved her mother but it hurt knowing that her father didn't want her. Lillian pulled the small girl away and looked into her eyes. "Sela, your daddy loves you so much, you have no idea," it hurt so much to lie to her, "That's the only thing that should matter." Sela looked down at the floor and once again hugged her mother tightly, "I miss him." Lillian felt guilt tighten in her chest as she hugged her daughter.

"Alright, I think we need a big movie night tonight!" she said with a bright smile to try and take Sela's mind off the subject. The girl looked up at her with big eyes, "Can we have candy?" she asked slightly mumbled. Lillian laughed and picked up her daughter, placing her in the cart and kissing the top of her head. "You sneaky little thing you!" she teased as she poked her playfully.

↳↳ Andrew sighed softly as he walked into the grocery store, Damien following close behind him, clutching onto his brother's pants. The taller male grabbed a cart before smiling down at his little brother as he picked him up. "What should we have for dinner buddy?" He asked him. The child seemed to think thoughtfully before he grinned and opened his mouth, but the older male spoke before he could. "And not candy." He chuckled, making the boy pout a little bit. "Pasta!" The boy then said, making Andrew nod. "Sounds like a good idea to me little guy." He said before setting the little red-head in the cart as he pushed it down the isles. Damien grinned as he started pointing out things to his brother, grinning even more as the older male grabbed them and put them in the cart. As the cart slowly started getting more and more items, Andrew had to lift Damien out of the cart so he could walk. They were going on a pretty big shopping haul, it was the first day they would be moving into their new home and Andrew wanted to be sure that they had a stocked fridge. As the older male was looking at a few items and keeping an eye on his brother, he glanced over at him. "Don't get too far." He said to the younger male.

Damien may have been young, but he knew better than to wander too far from his brother, once, the boy had wandered away from his parents in the store and sat in the middle of the floor crying before an employee gave him a lollipop and called his parents over the speakers. "Okay!" Damien said as he wandered a few feet from his brother, looking around curiously before he noticed a blonde woman and a girl that had to be close to his age in one of the isles not far from him. Looking at them, he moved a little closer before he quickly hid and shyly peeked over at them. The child was a bit shy, but he also wanted to make new friends at the same time. So he would peek over at them with interest before hiding his face again. Andrew looked over at his little brother before tilting his head to the side a little bit, what the heck was that kid doing? Chuckling a bit, he shook his head a little bit before he went back to putting items in the cart.

"I think we're almost done Little Rock," Lillian said as she walked back around one more time. They didn't have too much in their cart, but Lillian only shopped when she needed things and she never shopped all at once. Tapping a finger to her lips as she scanned the shelves, she leaned against their shopping cart with Sela sitting in the seat. "Anything else you want?" she asked as she looked over at her daughter. Blinking as Sela didn't answer, she looked to her daughter then in the direction she was staring. Turning slightly, she noticed a little boy shyly watching them. With a tender smile only a mother could make, she helped Sela out of the cart and let her wander over to the boy that seemed to catch her attention. She wasn't super worried about her daughter being hurt because she was right there if anything happened and Sela was smart enough to know when the situation was bad. Even so, Lillian kept an eye on her out of protective instinct.

Sela walked over to the two boys, her attention square on the younger one that looked around her age. The navy haired girl wasn't outgoing or a social butterfly, but she was certainly friendly. Tilting her head a little to the left, bangs falling to that side of her face, she smiled at the little boy. "Hi," she greeted with a small wave of her tiny hand. The little red headed boy looked positively nervous. "My name is Sela. What's yours?" she asked introducing herself, looking between them so the older male would know she was talking to him too.

↳↳ Damien continued to watch the woman and her daughter, peeking glances at them before he blushed a bit as the woman set the girl on the floor and the girl walked towards him. "H-Hi!" He said, smiling a little as he waved his hand. "My name is Damien." He said as he looked at the girl curiously, he didn't have much experience with other kids his age, but was still a friendly child. Andrew looked over at the little girl and smiled. "Hello." He said. "I'm Andrew." He glanced around and noticed a blonde woman, smiling at her as he guessed that she was the girl's mother. The small girl was a rather cute child, he found her hair color to be quite interesting. Then again, who was he to think about interesting hair colors when his was a medium shade of red. Chuckling softly to himself as if he had thought of some hilarious kind of joke. Andrew went down a few feet on the isle, but still in the view of his brother so he could keep an eye on the boy so he didn't grab an armful of candy like he did last time.

Oh man, a camera! Didn't he get enough of that with Bree? She took enough pictures and videos to last him another twenty years! She always found it so hilarious to watch him screw around. He didn't go to the bar that often for that simple fact. Plus, he was stupid when he drank. He was one of those people that put lamp shades on their heads and danced around like a money with a drink still in their hand. Just...He was just such a lightweight. "Great..." he moaned sarcastically. Of course the offer still stood and he couldn't stop Ty from bringing his camera, but still! He nudged the door opened with his arm as he entered the store.

It was pretty much just like any other general store. It had all the groceries you would ever need, plus a few extras. Finn was still pouting as he hunched his shoulders and stalked his way towards where the pickles were. Maybe he'd buy himself a Monster too...he hadn't had much in the way of food other than the homemade Chinese food back at the house. He still had some left and if Bree only wanted her pickles then that meant the rest was for him for dinner.

Sela smiled to both boys, "It's so nice to meet you." Sela was always one of those reserved, nice kids. She preferred to sit and read or watch movies with her mom then really going out and being around lots of people. But this was the first kid she had seen her own age that she couldn't help herself but to go up and talk to him. It would be nice if she was able to make a friend her own age. "I just moved here with my mommy and we're having a movie night tonight, wanna come over?" she asked innocently. Lillian's eyes widened and she looked over to her daughter, "Sela!" she called with a light laugh. Walking over to her, the young girl turning her head to look up at her mother with an innocent look of confusion. "You can't just go inviting random people to our house," she scolded lightly, not actually reprimanding her but more explaining to her, "You never know who will start showing up if you do that." "But mommy, he's my age," she replied, motioning to the little boy Damien. Lillian looked over at him and then up to the seemingly older version of him. From the way they looked she assumed they were brothers. The older read head didn't seem that much older than her, if not the same age.

"I'm sorry about that," she apologized to the older male. Looking back down at the two kids, Lillian rolled her garnet colored eyes. Sela was so good at the puppy dog eyes it was terrifying. "It's something we'll have to talk about maybe," she finally said in defeat. She was a weakling when it came to her daughter really trying to get something out of her. "For now we need to go Little Rock. Who knows, we'll see them again and besides I thought you were hungry for lunch," she added as she tried to coax the little girl to leave with her. Sela looked up at her, then looked back to Damien and then back up at her mom. Slowly she nodded. She was hungry. They had just finished moving in and it was more of a settle down kind of day. "We'll see each other again Damien," she told him with a smile and a small wave.

The two of them made their way back up to the front of the store to pay for their groceries. Walking beside her mom, Sela looked back over at Damien. If she didn't have any friends then she'd get so lonely. As Lillian stood at the counter paying for their groceries, Sela snuck off and ran back to Damien. She tapped on his shoulder and leaned in close to whisper into his ear, "We live on 1206 Pasadena." With a smile, she ran back to her mother.

Tyrese was finishing his smoothy as he walked into the store, and tossed the foam cup into a nearby garbage can. He was having fun torturing Finn through his teasing, and Finn continuously proved all the more that his inebriated adventures were worth seeing. The wolf almost forgot Finn just reached drinking age recently, a lot of people went wild during that time. Not that Tyrese was so much older and experienced that he could look down on a man two years younger than him. "Mhm, sounds like I made the right choice."

He wasn't interested in shopping right now, nor more so than carrying bags around during their tour for however long it would last. He let Finn get his pickles, giving a wave he suspected went unnoticed as he went to peruse through the reading material. Hopefully they had some good books, or he would have to flip through magazines until Finn was done. This isle wasn't crowded, thankfully, and he leaned against the wall as his eyes scanned back and forth on the page.

↳↳ Andrew smiled at the girl, she was an adorable little thing, that was for sure, well, not as adorable as Damien, but still adorable. When the girl said something about a movie night, the boy grinned in excitement before tilting his head to the side a little bit as a blonde woman came over and talked to the girl. The older male then laughed a bit as the child asked them to go to a movie night at their house before her mother came rushing over. The red haired male smiled a little as the blonde woman explained the concept of strangers to the girl, he then chuckled a bit. "It's okay." He chuckled a bit. "I know the feeling." He said, looking down at his little brother, who was now standing by the cart, holding onto it and looking at Sela and her mother. As Sela walked away with the woman, he waved back to her. "Yeah!" He said as he smiled before looking up at his brother after the two had disappeared from their sights. "Can we have a movie night?" He asked, making Andrew chuckle a little. "Sure." The older male said, how could someone say no to such a cute face? Both males then looked a little surprised as Sela came back. Damien looked at her before he smiled, watching her run back to her mother. So they would see each other again, Damien didn't have his whole address down since they had just moved in, but he did know that they lived on the same street. Maybe they were neighbors! That would have been cool, then he could play with Sela all the time. Andrew looked at his brother before chuckling softly. "Silly kid." He said, shaking his head a little bit. The two of them then continued their shopping before heading over to the checkout.

After the...'kind' words she gave in return Abe looked on as she exited to store."W-What was that....?" He didn't know why she seemed so angry, all he did was mention a new sandwich she could have and to have a nice day. But he decided to simply move on and continued to service customers. Although in the back of his mind he was wondering about her ears; whether they were soft or not like a real cat's.

While he continued to work the register he begun thinking about what he should get for dinner.'Should I just by take-out or make something at home? Which would taste better? Maybe I could just skip and go take some pictures." All these questions and more were racing in through his head, causing him to just stare into space. He was pulled back into reality once another customer gave a simple,'Ahem'. Abe shook his head and gave an embarrassed smile,"S-Sorry miss, I was just thinking about something. That'll be..." Everything was normal, just like it should be.

Finn sauntered his way down the isles until he came up to the one that had the pickle jars and picked out a big one. It was hefty, but he had enough muscle to handle it. As he was turning to make his way over to where the energy drinks were stashed, a little girl came rushing past his side, just nearly running him over. Her brow furrowed. Where had he seen that girl before? It was only a glimpse but when see movement at a slower speed then everyone else, glimpses don't happen often. Casually following the girl's direction, he froze, nearly dropping his jar of pickles when he noticed who she was running up too. Oh dear knight! Finn needed to find Ty and prevent him from seeing anything! He was in a good mood. He didn't need the man going into a frenzy. What was she even doing here?

Finn jogged up to Ty when he finally found him; making sure to wedge himself between him and the exit. "...F-Find any good books?" he stammered a little, nervousness bubbling in the pit of his stomach. How coincidental. He really hoped that Ty didn't recognize anything about her until she left. To cause a scene in the store was not high on Finn's list of things to do today.

"What were you doing?" she asked casually as she heard Sela's footsteps run up to her. "Nothing. Just saying bye to Damien," Sela replied with a sweet smile. If her mom found out she told a complete stranger their address then she'd be in big trouble. She didn't get in trouble a whole lot, but it still wasn't fun when she did. Her mom was scary when she was mad. Looking down at her daughter, she gave the girl a slightly suspicious look as she paid for their groceries. All in all, she only spent $60 today. Not too bad for the food they got. And some drawing stuff for Sela. "Hm...alright," Lillian sighed, "Now come on. Let's go make lunch." She picked up Sela and placed her back on her shoulders. With all her groceries firmly in hand, she began making her way out of the store, playfully tickling her daughter. "Ah! Mommy! St-Stop it!" Sela laughed, squealing loudly. "I will not! I gotta show you whose boss somehow right?" she chuckled back.

↳↳ After they had finished their shopping, the duo went up to the checkout, Andrew raising an eyebrow as he saw a candy bar mixed in with all of the groceries. He then smiled a bit and patted Damien's head as the kid giggled. After paying for everything he huffed softly, he'd spent $100 dollars on groceries! But, they had to eat.. Shaking his head a little bit, Andrew held the bags in one hand, while he was holding Damien in the other. Andrew may not look it, but he was actually fairly strong. The duo then headed towards the door, Damien grinning as they padded by Sela and her mom. "By Sela!" The small red-head said before he and his brother headed to their car in the parking lot. Andrew set Damien on the trunk of the car as he put the groceries away before putting his brother in his booster seat. It had been hell for Andrew to figure that thing out at first, but now it was a breeze. Andrew then got into the drivers seat and headed towards home.
