There are times where I want to go to bed....
"I like how this...'love' can make even the most regretful of people feel happiness. I've regretted many things before. I've grown to despise who I am." He smiled at what she wrote, he handed her a soda, "You are special. And you've always have been heard. It just happens to be me who heard your quiet frequency. For thy sweet love remembered such wealth brings /That then I scorn to change my state with kings. " Theodor enjoyed the couplet, even though the entire poem spoke of the man's hate for himself, the love that entered his life brought him happiness. Even not wanting to trade places with a king. Theodor had a self hatred, the reason he favored a poem such as Sonnet 29 was because this 'love' he read made him wonder if he would ever be happy like the man in the poem.

There are times where I want to go to bed....
"Who I am is someone who can't show enough emotion, someone who can't express himself normally. I'm someone who cannot smile over the littlest of things, I cannot smile over things I should find enjoyment in..." His voice rose but it did not seem to have an angry tone towards her. "I've never been in loved...I don't know how to really be in love. I don't understand even the most simplest of human nature." Theodor's face was emotionless again, his smile vanished and he stared into Madilyn's eyes with a stolid gaze. It was as if he was a computer, cold, mechanical, and expressionless.

There are times where I want to go to bed....
He smiled at Madilyn, "I'm glad you think that of me. I'm glad you are my friend..." Theodor was not used to the word friend, he never had a friend. But he was happy to have one and he was happy that it was Madilyn. Theodor took a sip from his soda, "Teach me how to be a little more normal...And I'll teach you...Whatever you want. I know a lot from other countries. If I don't know it, I'll still try to teach you." Theodor wanted to be normal for her, he didn't want to be always so emotionless.

There are times where I want to go to bed....
He didn't show any signs of disappointment, it was in his tone of voice, "Well, that is fine. I can't blame you." Tobias doubted he'd ever learn anyways, he just never understood how people could express emotions without having to think too much of it. He looked at the drawing on her notebook, "Then I fear I will never be able to unlock my heart..." Theodor closed his eyes briefly, he wanted to sleep, he wanted to lie in bed and not get up. Why would he even attempt to try and experience having emotions? There was no point for him, he was raised to be emotionless and show no remorse. Theodor went silent again, he didn't look at her, his eyes stared emptily at the can of soda in front of him.

There are times where I want to go to bed....
"I traveled because my parents thought I was too dangerous. My social skills weren't good. But I was skilled with combat. I doubt I really needed to learn how to put someone in a hold...Or kill them. And so, in order for me to develop some social skills, my parents thought that it would be best for me to visit different places in the world and learn from others. Except...I only watch, I never really got to experience anything myself. You are right, I have to experience something on my own. But, I'm afraid it comes randomly for me...Especially around you. You've certainly helped me feel happiness.." He made another simple but sincere smile, Theodor enjoyed her company, there was no words to express how happy he felt around her or why he felt happy. He just knew that being around her made him feel invincible.

There are times where I want to go to bed....
"I wouldn't hurt a fly if they didn't harm me...I-I was not smiling." It was one of his very rare stutters and lies, Theodor wouldn't usually lie but he was experiencing what it was like to be embarrassed. His cheeks turned red, but his eyes still held a strong stolid glance. He heard Madilyn's purr, as soon as he looked at her blushing face, he saw her transform into a kitten. Theodor petted the kitten on his lap. Someone walked by and looked at the cat on Theodor's lap and asked if the cat belonged to him. Theodor shook his head, "She's not my pet. She's my friend..." Theodor said, forgetting that he wasn't suppose to tell others about Madiyln's ability. The girl who asked Theodor about the kitten on his lap gave him an odd look and walked away. Theodor picked up Madilyn and held her in his arms. He kissed the kitten's head, "This is a very cute form of yours..."

There are times where I want to go to bed....
He smiled when he heard her purr, he scratched behind her ear. Theodor grabbed a french fry and held it in front of Madilyn. "I-I just want to hold you..." His cheeks were red. Theodor's heart began to race, Madilyn's actions affected him greatly. Her "innocent acts of cuteness", to put in terms, made him want to hold her. "M-Madi..." Theodor couldn't speak. He held the kitten up towards his face, he looked at Madilyn's eyes. "I-I want to keep you..." He said softly, he ran his hand down the kitten's back. He was still curious as to how the girl was able to transform into such an adorable form. Theodor already saw Madilyn as cute, the small kitten form she took only made the boy want to hold her in his arms.

There are times where I want to go to bed....
His eyes widen when the kitten licked his cheek, his face was flushed. Theodor looked at the kitten, "Y-you're e-embarrassing m-me...." He stuttered, he looked around, others were staring at him and Madilyn. That only made it worst of Theodor. He put Madilyn down on the table and put on his own hood. Theodor laid his head on the table and covered his face. S-she's...so cute...W-why did she lick me? Theodor peeked out and looked at Madilyn, he quickly hid himself again. He's never really experienced embarrassment like this, it was overwhelming and he didn't like it. It made him self aware of others around him and that they are thinking oddly of him. "C-can we go?...P-Please?"
