"Aaaahhhh nom nom nommmm" Honey joyously narrated the bites of his red velvet cake while his faithful cousin sat by his side. "Mmmmmm, there's something magical about this cake today. I dunno why. Maybe it's cause we get to spend time with a beautiful guest. Don't you agree?" happiness flowers darted around his head as he smiled happily towards Mori.

Sitting beside Honey, Mori set the cake knife back down on the edge of the plate of red velvet after he'd just cut a (large) piece for his cousin. There were additional plates and forks on the table, in case their guest also wanted to have a slice; the tall host decided not to have a piece himself, instead picking up his cup of English afternoon tea -- a refreshing tea he chose to pair with the sweetness of the cake -- and taking a quiet sip.
"Yeah," he said plainly when the small blond spoke to him, looking down at the cup and saucer in his hands with what appeared to be a thoughtful gaze.

Kujira walked in the host club and looked for a moment to see Honey and Mori sitting at a table; she made her way over to them. "Afternoon Honey and Mori." she said taking a seat at the table, sighing and relaxing before smiling at them "So what kind of cake and tea are you two having today?"

Mouth full of cake, Honey took a moment to finish chewing before he spoke again. After all, he didn't want to show any bad table manners in front of his new guest. With a sweet smile, he muffled with his mouth closed as he made strange gestures trying to covey what the cake was though charrades. However, it wasen't the best way to answer Kujira's simple question. It randomly ranged from it being the number 4 to it being a bird. If left to the horrid clues Honey was giving, one would think that he was telling an abstract story more than describing food. Finally being able to realize that his clues were less useless that a flashlight during the middle of a bright day, he swallowed and picked up his handkerchief to wipe some crumbs away from his chin. "...aahh sorry. It's red velvet cake! Kyo-chan had it shipped directly from France! It's very delicious! Would you like some! I promise not to pick off your piece ha ha" he lightly teased with an undertone of seriousness. He just might if given the chance. "Have you ever been to France before? It's very pretty! One of the hostesses from our club is from there!" Honey beamed sweetly to Kujira as pink flowers darted around his head. "France isn't as pretty as you though tee hee!" he meant it too. So was indeed cute! And he knew his cute.

Picking up a cloth napkin, he moved in closer to the sweets-loving blond and gently wiped at his mouth. "Mitsukuni," he spoke in a gentle montone, "Try smaller bites next time."

(I'm sorry Mori-san crying I'm new to this. But thank you. It won't happen again.) Kujira smiled more and giggled a bit at Honey san's poor attempt at charades to describe the cake, while thanking Mori-san for serving her, her cake and tea. She ate a piece as Honey-san talked about France and added cream and sugar to her tea. She blushed a little when Mori-san cared for Honey-san taking a sip before answering Honey-san's question. "Awww thank you Honey-san, that is sweet. And yes I have been to France, but only once when I was a kid. My parents dragged me along when they went to talk to a property owner for their hotel." She took another bite of the cake. "This red velvet cake is delisious, and the tea as well. they go together very well. Here Honey-san you can have some of mine. I couldn't eat all this even if I wanted to." Kujira said offering Honey-san her plate. "Mori-san, have you ever been to France?" she asked before sipping her tea.

(( It's okay! Now you know~ *hugs* emotion_yatta )) The smaller third year apologetically glanced over to his thoughtful and attentive younger cousin. "I'm sorry Takashi." His gaze fell back down to the plate before him "I know you keep telling me not to and I try, honest." That usual upbeat smile returned as he spoke fondly to Mori. " It's just so good sometimes I can't help but put in a little extra hee hee" Seeing Kujira laugh reminds Honey why he enjoyed being a host to much. Making other people smile and be happy was something he was glad to give back to the world; even if it was from something as silly as him poorly conveying words through charades. The lolita was starting to like this new guest already. Giving him her slice of red velvet cake, or any sweets for that matter, was a rapid way to becoming friends with the small blond. "Oooohh thank you so much! You're so nice!" Sparing no time, his spoon had already dug into the cake and was ready to grab a big piece that would work the size limit of the spoon. However, once glance to his cousin had Honey take a moment to greatly reduce the size of the piece before putting it into his mouth; after all he was trying his best to listen to Mori's advice. Proud of the face he had showed restraint and lessened the size of his piece, the smaller host turned to his stoic cousin with a look of delight. Silently conveying 'Yay! Did you see that? I did that! Yay! Are you proud of me Takashi?'With a swallow and a sip of tea, Honey washed down the cake before speaking again "Oh? Your family owns a hotel chain? Oh oh which one? Are you stationed in China??" he leaned over with the utmost interest.

"Your welcome Honey-san." Kujira replied as he went to eat her slice of cake and she sipped her tea. Kujira's cup was getting empty and was about to ask Mori-san for some more when Honey-san began excitingly asking questions. "Yes, my family does. They own the Rakuen hotel chain. And I think we have a few in Shanghai for tourists, but My parents like to stick with ocean front properties. So We spend a lot of time traveling internationally. We actually just came back from one such trip not too long ago, but this time it wasn't as fun. My dad and I got into a fight about how I spend my time." Kujira explained her smile fading for a moment before she drank the rest of her tea and smiled again. "But I'm fine, I figured this was going to happen sooner or later."

[ No need to apologize! It can take some getting used to. ] After cleaning Honey's face of icing, Mori folded the napkin up and set it aside on the table. His gaze lingered on his cousin for a moment, perhaps a subtle expression of understanding, before he turned his attention to Kujira so he could listen to her reply.
He watched as she offered the rest of her red velvet cake to the lolita-boy, ready to perform icing clean up duty again. When Honey paused with the expectedly hefty bite of plate on his fork, then cut it down to a more modest size to eat, he gave a small nod of approval. Good job, Mitsukuni. Seeing that happy, proud look on his cherubic face made the stoic third year smile faintly and he reached over to gently and lightly ruffle his blond hair.
"I haven't," Mori replied to Kujira's question about France, picking up his cup of tea again. He didn't say much more than that (of course), but he was interested in hearing about her family's hotel properties as well, wondering if he'd ever stayed in any of them; most of his traveling was for kendo competitions around East Asia.

Honey immediatley sat up as he recognized the name of her family's hotel. "I think we've stayed there before since Chika-chan and I frequent China for annual martial arts tournaments every year! Since we frequent there so much, we go to many. The Rakugen was defiantly the nicest since place we stayed at since it was by the ocean! Your family has good taste! Upon hearing her troubles, his smile slowly dissipated. "Oh, I'm sorry that happened to you. If it's not prying, may I ask what it is they don't approve of you doing?" The smaller third year played with Usa-chan's ears as the plush sat on his lap as he thoughtfully listened.

"Your not prying at all Honey-san." Kujira replied smiling excited to talk about her hobbies like she was any time someone would inquire about her, as it didn't happen too often. "I do a lot of things in my spare time. I created and now run my own animal shelter in Kyoto, but that is only a couple of hours a week since I've hired a complete staff to run it while I'm here at school and traveling." Kujira stated pouring her tea and beginning to ad her cream and sugar. " Otherwise pretty much any free time I get I spend creating drawings, paintings, cosplay, just about anything that involves art, or I'm doing anything to support the Otaku and Mythology club." Kujira paused and giggled a little. I guess when I talk about it I do spred my time pretty thin, but each one makes me just as happy as the last."

[ Terribly sorry for not responding for so long, life monster got me and it kind of killed my brain for RP. Getting myself back into it now! ] Mori's interest seemed to pique as Kujira mentioned her work with an animal shelter, since he had not only a soft spot but also an affinity for animals of all kinds. He didn't forwardly say anything about it, however, instead making sure that everyone at the table had what they needed.
"You must never be bored," he commented about her multitude of interests, speaking for the first time during their tea time. It was healthy to keep varied interests, he thought, and she didn't seem to have any difficulty managing all of them. He wasn't sure what was there for her parents to disapprove of, but wealthy families often set out very particular life paths for their children.[ ... and more apologies for it being short, after all this time. *coughs* ]

(It's ok, I understand the terror that is the life monster. And welcome back!)) "Yes, you're right about that Mori-san. It's rare that I find myself bored at all. But those rare times I do the host club is always there to remedy that." Kujira replied sipping her tea. "I just wish my father would see that if I can manage all my hobbies and activities now, then I won't have any problems in helping run the hotels once I graduate. *sigh* But he is instant that I drop everything else and make the family business my only priority." She smiled and looked to Mori and Honey. "Thank you two again for being my hosts. You both have been great. I decently needed this."

"It's a wonderful way to spend your time. I know I can speak on Takashi's behalf and mine that you're doing a good thing to help those poor animals to help give them a good chance at life. It's wonderful and anyone who thinks that it's a waste of time should be ashamed! You're an amazing person for doing so and don't let anyone ever take that fact away cause it's true!" Honey touched Kujuria's hands and gave her a determined look. His eyes softened when she thanked them. "No no. Thank you for giving us the honor to spend time with someone so noble! For you we always have time. Anyone who devotes time to the kind of cause you are working for makes it our pleasure. Isn't that right Takashi?"

[ Thank you. ^^ ] "He'll understand in time," Mori chimed in again with support; he believed that as long as Kujira didn't give up on proving that to him, her father would have faith in her. The best way she could show that was through her school grades, he thought, but he believed she'd come to that conclusion if she hadn't already.
He agreed that her work with the animal shelters was admirable and hoped she'd never feel a need to stop with it completely. When Honey complimented her and then spoke to him, he nodded, "Right."
As he reached for the tea pot to refresh everyone's cups, the tall host paused as he felt his phone vibrate in his pocket. He took a moment to quietly check it while Honey and Kujira talked; it was his alarm for kendo club, which would be starting soon... and that meant his cousin would also be wanting a nap.
"Sorry, Kujira-san," he said to the young lady, "I have to get to kendo practice and it's nearly time for Mitsukuni's nap." He offered a small, polite bow to her. "We hope to see you again very soon." There was quiet sincerity in his stoic tone, since he did enjoy her pleasant company and Honey already seemed to like her. Like his older cousin, Mori was happy to fulfill her request any time.
