Hey guys...I've been on here for about two years but I am done with this site once and for all. Within the next 48 hours, I intend to delete my main account and associated mules.
Several of the anons, and users in general, on here have made a positive difference in my life and I hope that even as GaiaOnline goes down the shitter, the generosity of a few users will continue.
Before I go, I would like to leave the items and money that I have acquired in the hands of good people that would use them for the best. Is there anyone in particular that I can give to, or is there a mule I can donate to?

You could go around and gift people stuff from their Wishlist, if you have the items. As for Gold, I'm not sure if the Guild has a Mule, but you could give it to people on quests, various charities, there's various options.
Still, I don't think the PM Spam is worth quitting over. It's annoying sure, but it's not something to get massively riled over. Of course, opinions will differ. It's your life, in the end the choice is yours.

I know...I was just wanting to give most of everything away in one clean shot. I'm honestly not quitting over just the PM Spam...there are much deeper issues at heart here. This has been ongoing for several months now, and I have seen countless examples in which those in charge have blatantly disrespected GaiaOnline users. There was one thread in particular that just made me physically sick to my stomach.

Minnta Aloripma Straw that broke the camels back, eh? Pretty much, yeah. I will not continue to support such an unethical company as GaiaOnline. I never spent a penny on this site and I know that one person may not make a difference, but I'm done. Hence why I want to leave my things in good hands.

Thanks...and I can understand why you want to stay. I have honestly been drifting away for a while now, and I know how to keep in touch with most of the contacts I have on here elsewhere. I truly do hope the site gets better, and who knows...maybe if things improve, I will come back.

Well, if yer serious about givin' away all yer stuff, I suggest findin' a good charity ye like and givin' them part er all o' yer stuff. Things on Gaia have made me wary, as of late, but I'm holdin' on, keepin' up hope. I, too, have gotten too attached ta abandon it, yet. Good luck to ye.

If there is anything left - this account will take whatever you want to give off your hands so I can go and donate to others smile I'm sorry that you haven't been happy here. My main account has been around since late '03 and I loved this site - I haven't been around lately expect the past few months and haven't enjoyed the whole experience. I have found that being apart of the anon donators have really helped me still believe in the good of this site. smile

Hate to hear that a guild member is leaving. crying I do understand that at some point things in our lives must change. 3nodding If you wish to get rid of your items vs. keeping them in case you come back there are plenty of charities and threads for new gaians that I'm sure could use the items plus the dumpster. wink
