HELP WANTED
This thread will contain in-character roles that we need to fill in order to advance our plot.

*This thread is NOT for staff positions.  

[Guardian_Iris]

• Only active Role-players will be considered.
  
• Reliability of the player will be looked at in determining which Pae'il to take for the role.
  
• Player must follow rules of the role, regardless of the Pae's personal morals. That means don't apply for a job that is wrong for a Pae'il.
  
• If a player goes inactive, we reserve the right to find a replacement for the job.
  
• There is no limit to the amount of roles a player can have, as long as they can keep up with them all.
  
• We replace Pae'il who do not do their job, even if they (or the player) are active.
  
• Role-relevant RP is required to be considered for any role.
  
• Be proactive in keeping the Pae'il active. There will not always be Meta-RP going on, but the Pae'il still has to do their job. They still exist between Meta-RPs.
  
• Pae'il are not meant to just take a role, then sit dormant, as many positions are lost in this way because they're not doing their jobs.
  
• Unlimited roles do not have the same level of restrictions! You are mostly applying here to let us know you are taking the role, so we can watch your activity to present you with future notices--which may involve promotions!--and make sure you are obeying the role correctly! Once applying, you may assume you have an unlimited role.
  
• Post the relevant code in this thread with your interest. We will give Notices to those we are considering for the limited positions to see if they're ready.

Light Faction
Holy Order of the Light

:[ What It Is ]:

This faction includes Angels, Demons and Faerie Pae'il by default. Members of this faction worship the Guardians and hold them in highest respect with humble obedience. Most members of the Holy Order of the Light reside in Telrunya City, which is considered the capitol of the island's Angel, Demon and Fae population.
• Leadership
  • Will be determined in a soon upcoming event event.
    
  • Will consist of 3-7 Knights, who will lead all Light Faction activities.
  
  

:[ Limited Available Roles ]:

• Telrunya City Physician
  • This role will require a Guardian-loyal Pae'il who is an expert with Pae'il anatomy, biology and pathology.
    
  • This Pae'il will only diagnose others, not treat them. They can refer others to where to get treatment.
    
  • Power's related to healing, cleansing or curing will allow the Physician to treat their patients. This is not a requirement, but will make the role a little easier to play.
• Double Agent Spy
  • This role will require an Angel or a Demon
    
  • Pae'il must be a Guardian Loyalist
    
  • Must be willing to pretend to be loyal to both factions in order to seek out traitors.
  
  

:[ Unlimited Available Roles ]:

• Acolytes
  • This entry role will require a Guardian-loyal Pae'il who is willing to devote themselves completely to the worship of the Guardians and the spreading of the Light.
    
  • This Pae'il is essentially a "Student" of the Guardian Religion. They likely live in or near the chapels, and spend their days listening to the guidance of priests.
    
  • Acolytes will follow specific codes of conduct, and will be punished if they stray too far from that code. Think of it similarly to a code of chivalry.
• Cadets
  • This is an entry role for those Light Pae'il who are interested in assisting with Law Enforcement. They will answer to Deputies.
    
  • This Pae'il is in a position similar to a Police Academy Student may be, though with some level of authority. They may be brought on the field to patrol or make arrests for small crimes.
    
  • If your Cadet is found to be corrupt, they will be punished to the full extent of the law. Do be aware that Cadets will be under fairly high scrutiny, so it will be difficult to get away with corruption!
• Explorers
  • The Guardians are aware many of the Light Pae'il still live on the Isle, and so, they have a task for them -- you may become an Explorer and expand the knowledge of the Light Pae'il of the Isle.
    
  • This Pae'il would be expected to explore the Isle, learning things about it that are not currently known (or widely known).
    
  • Explorers may also act as cartographers, mapping out the Isle.

Elemental Faction
Water, Earth, Void, Air, Fire

:[ What It Is ]:

This faction includes all members of the Naiads, Faun, Miakis, Sila and Dracian. (The latter 3 will be revealed later). These Pae'il are considered descendants of The Ancients - the original Pae'il. They work together to ensure a safe and peaceful Telrunya, and to preserve the island.
• Leadership
  • Naiad - Queen Tariel and her Royal Court (Captain of the Guard Turin, Lady in Waiting Aeroniel. The vacant roles will be posted nearer to Naiadapalooza.)
    
  • Faun - Chief Rais and his Circle (Advisor Mo, Seer Vanya, Captain Gulliver. Vacant roles will be posted in this thread.)

Faun
• Grand Geomancer
  • This position is one of the 4 important Inner Circle positions so it will require an active player willing to follow directions.
    
  • This position is in charge of Earth magic and all who wield it. Held in regards as a teacher and leader for those learning Earth magic or blessed as Terrakin.
    
  • Defensive forces leader - protect the Tree at all costs
    
  • Respects tradition, follows and upholds Faun society's rules, and understands that Angels and Demons (and their hybrid offspring) are the enemy.
    
  • Must be male
    
  • Must be a Faun or Fauny
    
  • Only one Inner Circle position per player.
  Matron
  • Member of the Outer Circle who helps teach and care for the young Faun.
    
  • Serves as the midwife for expecting Faun
    
  • Aids Earthmother in being a leader, teacher and role-model for young female Faun. (Still educates the little boys) (Note: this duty can be given to the Chief's wife if she's active enough.)
    
  • Respects tradition and the Faun way of life, upholds the rules and laws of the society Faun have built and recognizes Angels and Demons (and their offspring) as the enemy.
    
  • Will teach young Faun to be wary of Angels, Demons and their hybrid offspring.
    
  • Matchmaker for Faun and Faunie
    
  • Must be female
    
  • Must be Faun or Fauny
  Physician
  • This role will require a Faun or Fauny who is an expert with Faun anatomy, biology and pathology.
    This Pae'il will only diagnose others, not treat them. They can refer others to where to get treatment.
    
  • Power's related to healing, cleansing or curing will allow the Physician to treat their patients. This is not a requirement, but will make the role a little easier to play.
  Gardener
  • The Faun in this position will tend to the delicate Acorns in Laisidhiel's boughs.
    
  • Ensures all Acorns remain safe and secure, especially in harsh weather
    
  • Helps Acorns that are ready to hatch, and guides the newly hatched Faun baby to the Matron.
    
  • Helps same-gender couples find the perfect Acorns for their family.
  Pathfinder
  • This role is for a scout who will survey the land and report anything out of the normal to the Inner Circle on a regular basis.
    
  • Will act as a spy in certain circumstances
    
  • Helps lost Faun find their way home
    
  • Will reside outside of the Tree
    
  • Will remain loyal to the Tree and Rais, uphold Faun standards and way of life, and trust that Angels and Demons and their hybrid offspring are the enemy.
    
  • May serve as a double agent in order to gather intelligence by befriending Angels and Demons in important positions.
    
  • There may be more than one in this role depending on interest.
  
  Warden
  • Head of the guards who protect the Root Cellar (the prison)
    
  • Lead law enforcement within Laisidhiel
    
  • Supports, recognizes and follows all Faun rules, laws and traditions and believes Angels and Demons (and their hybrid offspring) are the enemy.
    
  • Releases prisoners as their sentence ends, and re-enforces the rules and conditions of release.
    
  • This role requires a Faun or Faunie with a like-mind to Rais.

Naiad

• Captain of the Hunters - to be filled at Naiadapalooza
  
• Grand Aquamancer - to be filled at Naiadapalooza
  
• Advisor to the Queen - to be filled at Naiadapalooza
• Scout
  • This role is for a scout who will survey the waters and report anything out of the normal to the Royal Court (Advisor once appointed) on a regular basis. This will include in the lake, rivers and sea around the island.
    
  • Will act as a spy in certain circumstances
    
  • Helps lost Naiad find their way home
    
  • Will reside outside of the palace
    
  • Will remain loyal to the Water and Tariel, uphold Naiad standards and way of life, and trust that Angels and Demons and their hybrid offspring are the enemy.
    
  • May serve as a double agent in order to gather intelligence by befriending Angels and Demons in important positions.
    
  • There may be more than one in this role depending on interest. All Scouts will report to Anatolio.
• Physician
  • This role will require a Naiad who is an expert with Naiad anatomy, biology and pathology.
    This Pae'il will only diagnose others, not treat them. They can refer others to where to get treatment.
    
  • Power's related to healing, cleansing or curing will allow the Physician to treat their patients. This is not a requirement, but will make the role a little easier to play.

Faun
• Rangers
  • This entry level role is part of the protection of the tree. They are the ground forces and the guards.
    
  • This position obeys the authority of Captain Gulliver, as well as any division heads he may appoint.
    
  • Rangers understand that Angels, Demons, and their hybrid offspring are a threat and must be prevented from entering the tree.
    
  • Rangers will defend the tree at all costs.
• Gatherers
  • These are the ones that gather food for the tree.
    
  • This position searches in the wild for fruits, vegetables, and other things for the tree to help sustain them. Some may also hunt animals for meat.
    
  • They may also find animals to use them for things such as milk, cheese, eggs, and other products.
    
  • Gatherers work with the Chef and the Brewmaster of the Tree often to organize meals.

Corruption Faction
The Tainted

:[ What It Is ]:

• This is the faction led by rogue Guardian Strafe. He uses the Taint from Dragnid Tower to boost his own powers and corrupt Pae'il into serving him. He employs many different methods of recruitment.

Neutral (The Rebellion)
Freedom Fighters

:[ What It Is ]:

• More information about the Rebellion will be revealed during our Aynurlet event. This is not the faction for Pae'il refusing to participate in the war because it will be most active in trying to stop it.
