Six Echo 2 Suicidesoldier#1 Sure, I guess. The only problem is that anything like a GPS or something could be removed or destroyed. Harmless radio tracking is possible, but unfortunately trying to arm rebels and make it so they can't use the weapons anymore is more or less impossible. You could make it be powered by a battery, as in have it be electronic, and when that wears our it receives a signal it no longer works, but, that's still questionable. If you did it secretly you could have some kind of tracker thing in it that broke it somehow under the right conditions. If you could somehow quarantine the nation afterwords and look for irradiated weapons with a lot of stamping materials in them and such and pass out iraddiator checkers and tell everyone to turn in their weapons, especially to gun shops and pawnshops that would sell them after a war was over, you could keep most of them from leeking out. We're currently under the orders of the international community to refrain from direct involvement in the conflict due to the effect it could have in the fate of the country so a quarantine is not possible without getting the superpowers upset. Mass radiation poisoning is too much of a risk also so we're more in favor of using a GPS system which we can ultimately up-link to our satellite The radiation is actually harmless. The FBI tracks bills and things all the time, with it, that is stolen money, and it's a harmless form of radiation. Light, that is visible light, or infrared, or even microwaves, as well as radio waves (like in your phone or TV and such) are also harmless forms of radiation.
However, there might be a way for GPS's with a sort of black box. It would make it really hard to remove or destroy. Although, some people could still remove them. If kept secret, enough, they might not notice.
A good starting point would be something like this!
Better yet, maybe the firing pin could be the GPS thing. xp

Interesting, we'll take a shipment of both GPS tagged and a set of weapons that can be traced via radiation. The Armory may have done a good thing should everything go according to what our sources expect.

YAY! blaugh
They'll be irradiated, and the bolt and firing pin will be, basically, a high strength polymer coated GPS. If they remove it, which is possible, then the gun won't work. xp
