Victor turned to Grove. "True, but silver itself also has some basic properties that do damage to demons, the undead, and other strange creatures as well, all on it's own." Tessa shifted her feet uncomfortably. "Some people say it's a holy metal, others say it has very subtle magic, and some say it's a bane to the cursed. Whatever the truth about it is, I'm not sure, but I do know it's a handy thing to have around if you can't afford the more magical or blessed items."
I'd rather use blessed bullets than take my chances with something as dangerous as silver.
Victor walked over to a stall, where a vendor was selling unpackaged silver bullets. He picked one up and held it up to his eyes. "Pewter? Really? Get out of here you pompous scumbag! Did you ever consider if your greed would get someone killed?" He threw the bullets away, to the shock of the vendor, turned to fright when his stall's neighbours leered at him. The metal bits scattered at the Inquisitors' feet, and involuntarily, Tessa scuffed back as one pinged into her foot, even though it was pewter. Victor pointed out a few honest shops to them, and pointed out the high price of silver. Tessa pursed her lips. What would a box of blessed bullets cost her? Tessa watched Victor send Crimson off and deal with the foreigners, and then she turned to the majority of the group.
"I'm going shopping for supplies. I don't mind if anyone wants to join me." She turned sharply on her heel and walked to one of Victor's recommended shops. She pressed the door open, and the bell chimed, alerting them of her entry. She looked around the shop, well stocked along its shelves and counters with ammunition and weapons suiting any and all of her purposes. She smiled at the clerk. "I'm looking to purchase ammunition for an MP 44 and a Bergman. Blessed Bullets."

(OOC: Ah! Sorry for not replying sooner everyone! I'm also sorry I haven't been in communication with most of you for such a long period of time, I've just been very busy with work and school (not a fun mix) and there is the chance I may be even more busy for the rest of the month. I'll try to pop in here and there, but if you guys aren't posting then I can't really post. That said though, I may not be able to post at all for the next while from work along, but I do promise that I will try and keep this roleplay up and running, especially since summer is almost here, which means lots more free time! I'll keep tabs on the roleplay even when I'm offline too folks, so don't think that because I'm not here that I've forgotten about you. In fact, stories relating to Dalcaria are pretty much the only thing going through my head lately, which is a rare thing for me (to focus on one story at a time I mean), so this universe is sucking up a lot of creativity from me! Chances are I'll have more to add to the universe very soon, including a possible kingdom for aquatic folk (ie. Mermaids, but cooler. xd ). One last thing, I have a few things to change about Victor soon, just his profile pic and his car I think. I found some things that I thought suited him much better, so keep an eye on his profile in the future, hope to change those things soon. wink Anyways, I best be going soon, but try to keep things going if you can folks! Thanks again for your continued dedication, and thanks for helping make Dalcaria such a fun place to be in! 3nodding Oh, and one last last thing, I'm thinking of naming the planet finally. Gardia is the name I'm most inclined to, but if any of you have another idea, please let me know!)

█████████████ ☇ ▓▓▓▓▓▓▓▓. ☈ 〓〓〓〓〓〓〓〓〓〓〓 〓 〓 〓 〓 〓 ≫
Grove had chosen to follow Tessa as she had consented to company. He heard her put emphasis on the type of bullets she was after and blinked a millisecond faster. 'Perhaps she has reason to be cautious of silver..' but then quickly schooled his thoughts. It was her business after all, not his. Although keeping secrets on a venture was hardly wise but it would take a much ruder person than he to search the thoughts of any member of their present company. This particular shop was specialist materials, and he himself wandered over to enchanted materials and thumbed a thick spool of black thread, 'perfect for shadow silk.' He would need to fashion himself a black hooded cloak that was more or less intangible. His trademark greens, blues and greys would have to step back in favour of more practical wear.
Despite what others believed, he was no true shade. He had met two before and knew that instead of selling his soul, he had either had it removed or destroyed. The last was unlikely, for he still had a moral code and a sense of compassion, but perhaps lacking a soul didn't affect this. And even then, losing one's soul didn't usually change a person from human to....something else. There was no exact documented case to describe what he was, to describe how the body takes on the appearance of a greyed yet smooth statue, pale and glossy eyes with perfect vision and limbs stronger than marble yet with the texture of cold flesh. He glanced over at Tessa curiously, picking up the thread and moving across the room to examine amulets and charms.
