If your interested in participated just leave a post here in this thread saying you're interested please : ). Joining as an artist will be closed on Jan. 12th. But don't fret, those who are unable to join on time can still join in for the fun and challenge! Unfortunately, you won't be able to enter the raffle.

Additionally, please post art request here so that it can be added when we make the official 100-day event thread. A few important things to include with your request would be name, image, and some refs (or link to refs).

We want your Opinion

In addition this year I will not be able to hand out gold to everyone, so I was wondering if prizes would be necessary? Would you participate in the event even if there was no prizes? Or do you think your less likely to stay motivated till the end if there is nothing to gain in the end? If you guys would like to have a prize at the end do you have any ideas as to what would make good prizes? Little China Doll suggested a raffle for art from a popular or well known artist? What do you guys think? : )

Rules

1. Participant must submit a drawing every day for a consecutive 100 days in a row, using the themes given. Participants will have the choice of 1 out of 5 different themes per day to choose from. Additionally, you must submit within the time frame for that theme. You cannot submit the theme the day before or after if you wish to be included into the raffle at the end of the event.

2. If none of the themes inspire you, you could draw requested avi art for our art collectors instead, to replace that day's themes. You may do this as many times as you'd like, but you're encouraged to try the themes if you can. :3

3. Themes will be changing everyday at the same hours (hour will be specified later on when event starts). Be sure you post your creation before the next theme is handed out.

4. We must be able to properly associate one of the day's themes with the art piece (unless it's a request!) Your art piece must reflect the daily theme, and be something publicly known. We encourage creativity, so if the theme is something like "bumble bee" you can draw a bee, the car or even the transformer if you'd like.

5. Media can be anything you'd like, including non-visual media like poetry, prose, or music. If you produce a long written work, please excerpt a short snippet that makes the theme obvious.

6. The raffle is for artists who have pushed themselves by completing the 100-day challenge in a timely manner (no late themes were submitted). There will be days where artists will be granted a pass through a "theme" and what those do is allow artists to use that pass as a submitted theme. When you do not submit on time, a pass will be used automatically to keep you in the game! :3

Oh, and I think it's better to have a price and I also like the idea of a raffle for art from a popular or well known artist.

last year I failed horrilby forgot what day it started I believe.... might make it this year might as well try I suppose

I would love to try again this year! I finished all 100 eventually last year, but not on time, so that was disappointing.. but this year I'm excited to give it another go! smile

The gold was a nice perk last year, but I think the highest motivator was just the incentive to prove you could do it (at least it was for me), so there's no need for that much gold again this year, in my books. However, if people are really set on it, you could just give out a lot less to people, like 20k instead of 200k razz

The art raffle would be cool though! smile

I'm in again! I love this event! heart It doesn't bother me at all to have no prize, I just enjoy the event.

I hope I can make it this time, though. Ever since the first event, I had gone over a year and a half with drawing something every day! I was so proud of myself, but eventually college work wore me down. I haven't done anything in the past few months. x__x

Hopefully this event will get me back on track!

I may try to join in again this time. :3
