History: The Land of Torres is a world of darkness near the world that never was. .The founders of Torres were a tribe of sorcerers, who in ancient times, had sought to attempt to control the worlds hearts and ultimately the Kingdom Hearts using a powerful relic called the Fused Shadow and there advanced shadow magics. In response to such audacity, the Keyblade Masters began to seal up the power they had mastered, thus rendering the children who serve the shade powerless. What do you think happened to the magic wielders who tried to rule the worlds? They were banished. They were chased across the sacred lands of kingdom hearts and driven into another realm were they found a great city. It was another world entirely... The antithesis of Kingdom Hearts, where the sun shines bright. Its denizens became intuned with the darkness and grew to know only the light of the moon above there heads. Eventually, most came to call it the Torres;Due to its pre made tower structures, and from it, none could return to the world of light.They were forever doomed to live in the darkness, flitting in the half-light of artificial day, mere shadows of a forgotten people. The tribe lived and evolved in the new realm for centuries in secret isolation, mere shadows of what they once were, as over time they grew used to their surroundings and came to accept their fate.While some learned to love the beautiful peace that can be found only in the darkness's embrace, it drove other inhabitants mad. This is the history of the cursed children of the shadow.
Description:The 'city' consists of thirteen tiers, each resting on their own plate of corresponding ranking; twelve out of the thirteen are situated above ground level, the last is situated underground. The Kings Residence is only accessible via the Thirteenth Tier, even though its foundation rests on the tenth. Shops litter the Lower Tiers, predominantly run by their original owners , some of the more popular ones, own multiple establishments across multiple tiers were business booms the most. There are numerous factories also situated in the Lower Tiers, which manufacture lower quality goods for purchase by civilians, as well as weaponry and minerals for further usage. Travel between Tiers is achieved via cable cars,trams,and hidden teleports.
As with the city's construction, a multitude of forests were torn down, and numerous mountains were leveled. The few remaining forests were relocated and distributed amongst several of the Upper Tiers, where via Magic also house hidden plantations for sustaining all of the Tiers. The Lower Tiers are cluttered with residential buildings, shops and factories. The Upper Tiers, reserved for the administrative activities of the Kings Sol Division.
