Hey I made a short poem yesterday and blessings be to God that He helped me remember. I wanted to share it with you guys.
"Jesus Christ, You are Purity and Light,
You give me strength for my days,
And Hope for my nights,
Your kindness always stays.
I humbly ask to be in Your service,
For Your's was a great sacrifice."
The first four lines are audible rhyme but the last two are visual rhyme.
I'm not trying to pass off as a professional. Sometimes something sounds good to me and well yea XD. Hoped you liked it. Please feel free to comment on what you think.

Overall its good. I like it. Its hard to say how well you fare with only one poem to base off others. I'm no pro critic, its just my opinion.
