So there are an array of campaigns I have been wanting to DM.
And since the couple of games I'm in right now are slower then a snale on shrooms...

So I'll ask what setting you guys want to see.

1. Basic fantasy game with a murder mystery twist
Pretty much a low level game, with an over arching puzzle to be discovered.
Less combat, more puzzle.
Hopefully it will end with a fun little lemon twist.

2. A Firefly setting.
Oh, I have wanted to do this for a long time...
Basically you guys get to make up a crew, and make fun moral choices.
Deal with unsavory, yet fun characters..
Run from the Fed's, and what not.
Fun fun fun.

3. A test of my home brew.
This one will be as open as you guys want to make it.
Based on your characters I will develop the world around them.
So if you all end up choosing mutants, than it will end up being a very comic-book world.
If you guys are all over the place with your abilities than it will be a very divers world.
Etc.

4. Something else, that you guys suggest.
Honestly, I'm not super picky.
If people want to try something else just let me know.
Ill see what I can do.

Be careful with number three people will make the most terrible characters possible if you allow it.

Ah well there's the thing.
Its meant to be silly, but carefully overseen.
The DM and the player have to make the characters together.
So, they can try, but ill keep killing terrible creations sweatdrop

Well my input is that I personally would like to play a Fable based Mutants and Masterminds game or even the homebrew if it accomodates such things.

Failing that a generic supes game.

If I get a vote, I'd say either 3:16 or Mutants & Masterminds with Mongooseh!

3:16?
Sorry, in puzzle mode.
I instantly go to bible stuff.
Damned puzzles.

And yes, the home brew fits any scenario really.
Especially since bulletprood vests are more DR than AC anyway.
I always hated AC xD

Fables as in the old stories. I've been reading a comic lately called fables and it seems pretty cool.

Ok, like the brothers Grimm?

I could do something like that.
A gritty sorta world.
It might be a lil slower of a development, but that sounds fun.
Are we talking Medieval setteing, a steampunky setting, a colonial one, modern day...
Cause each of those is possible...

Hmmm would you prefer one where they break the 4th wall of the fables, or don't.
As in... Like Once upon a time, or Wolf Among Us?
Or where its a world of the fables, where the fables about their world are unknown/nonexistant?

Please realise the comic book series known as Fables is where Wolf Among Us draws its source material.

Ok, so basically modern day brothers Grimm kinda thing.
Sounds good.

If we get a couple people that want to, im thinking a group set up to be the enforcers that deal with human/fable law.
Basically a mix of humans and fables that work to help integrate the two groups.

Investigating murders that could be linked to Fables and what not.

Now that I started thinking about it im really lovin' this idea.

But I may expand the world, so that its more... accessible?
Basically any literature that's fable-esk.
So the grimm stories, Narnia, Some from Andersen, and the tales of Baba Yaga.
Maybe some other literature as things go along...
Anything where David Bowie was, or should have been, the villain.

Hmm...
And of course any suggestions.

Baba Yaga appears as a villain in the comics and it gives brief mention of narnia. Wolf among us includes grendel from beowulf. Arabian and eastern stories are included but less mentioned because of a western audience.

Well, sadly, I don't read too many comics.
I spend enough time in the nerd zone at my local gaming shop and on here xD
I did play the game, and id like to give it that kind of feel.

Create a different version of an existing Fable.
Make them grittier, give them a different personality now-- explain why they changed.
Or make a human, possibly give them some sort of supernatural power that explains why they were chosen.
Something small, just so the magically enhanced enemies cant simply walk all over you-- on the rare occasions you do actually brawl.

Yeah, the tabletop game 3:16 isn't so much Puzzle OR Biblical. It's more Starship Troopers than anything else. If aliens were gordian knots, you'd solve them by BLOWING THEM THE F**K UP which probably isn't the angle you were looking for.

Never played.
xD
Also, i've never been a fan of the blowing s**t up tactic.
Not very imaginative.
