So here in Texas we had a tornado touch down a ways from where I am but still, that same storm system is moving through the Dallas area right now. Made me wonder what proper animal safety is during a storm.
Right now I have both dogs in their respective kennels in the bathroom, the room where we would go if the sirens went off (not that we wait for the sirens).
Does anyone have any idea what you're supposed to do?

Anywhere the humans go to be safe is where the animals should go, and crating them seems like a good idea so they don't freak out and run off.
