- Geheimnisvoll Ruins ----------- Hidden away in Nogetsu near the desert and canyon lies a large amount of ruins from an old dynasty that fell long ago. It was said that this dynasty tried to take over the Dragon Kingdom during a battle but inevitably failed and the Dragoon Army destroyed her and her people, leaving the rest to fall into shambles and be forgotten. But these ruins are still here and almost speak of the past to the people who wander through. Some say it's haunted and the torches never go out, leaving an eerie glow upon things at night. Some of the buildings are still accessible but not stable so be wary. ----------

"Halliviere Greywille, or as she prefers to be called, Halwill, strides onto the terrain before the imposing structures and stares in awe at the morbid beauty. It was the exploration of the unknown, the promise of excitement and thrill that drew her in, and this decaying site was no different. What treasures lay hidden? What beasts lurk within? Only time and fate will tell, but Halwill is not one to back down in fear when there's money to be made!" Yes, she was narrating herself again, but then, when you traveled alone for so long, you tend to pick up an odd trait or two. The kitsune smirked as she walked cautiously up to the crumbling building. After years of traveling the world, Halwill knew a thing or two about danger and, illogical as she could be at times, she had no problem playing the coward's part in dangerous situations. Gripping her shakujo and taking a deep breath, she crept into the shadows of the buildin. Once she finally got serious about her "work", nothing would deter her from her goal. In this case, it was any valuables that may lay hidden within the mass of stone and mortar. She was a nice enough person, but being a good girl only got you so far. 'Good girl's gotta eat too, ya know.' she crept quietly along the side of the building towards the entrance, not even her trusty shakujo made a sound as she continued her quest.

Halwill progressed deeper down the main corridor of the first decrepid building she crossed. Her right eyebrow twitched as it finally registered in her mind that she would have to check every single one of these massive buildings. 'Just remember, it's all for the sake of money. Remember the money.' Strengthening her resolve, she crept down a smaller passage to the right when the main corridor split into smaller corridors. Glaring at the dirty walls, she twitched her nose a bit when dust invaded the sensative appendage. It took all the strenght she had in her body not to let out one of the earth-shatteringly loud and unladylike sneezes she was known for. A ricketty place like this could come tumbling down at any moment. It probably couldn't withstand her air light footsteps, let alone one of her earsplitting sneezes. She was pushing her luck, here. The thought alone had her turning swiftly on the ball of her foot when a shimmer caught her eye. 'GOLD?!' That one coherent thought, alone, had her spinning back around and speeding down the corridor, completely disregarding her previous thoughts of stealth and silence.

--------------------- The tired mage girl wanders throw the halls of this ruins. Hopefully she'd find what she's been looking SO long for. But probably not. The girl sighs as we wanders through the ruins. She didn't come here for any reason other than to hopefully find a Moshi...probably not though. The gods were damned good hiders or whatnot. She could be searching all her life. She would never get married, never have fun......never see her family again. Well except that weird uncle that helped her out. Don't get me wrong, she likes her uncle, but she'd rather have her mother, father, and brother back. Meara pulls her long purple cloak around her more, covering more of her body. Her eyes could not be seen from the cloak yet she could see clearly. She walks past broken pillars of the ruins, admiring it for a second then moving on. This was going to take a while. She looked at some rocks covering an area. She sighed, she was going to have to use her magic. She extends her right hand, a small circle appears on her hand and grows with a bright purple color. The rocks in the way start to glow purple as she focused on them. She raised her arm and the rocks were lifted from the ground. This was gravity magic, one of Meara's favorites. She throws the rocks off to the side, hitting the ground making the ruins slightly shake. She looks over to the area she discovered by lifting the rock. A long walkway. She decided to go down it. ---------------------

Raven was walking for days until he came upon the sit of the ruins he thought to himself, as he smelled the air. " Hmmph these old useless building are a true eye sore for me." Looking around the place to see if it was safe as he went on walking pass the buildings. " But it seems like a safe place for me to rest for a while." He said as he was standing in front of a old pillar then jumping up ascending into air and then land on the top of the pillar with grace. " Hmmph this will do." he said as he sit down and looked out at the ruins. As he started to close his eyes for the moment, he thought of his home his place with his mother and father and how he missed them so dearly. " I have to move on." Opening his black colored eyes to look up at heaven in the sky. " There is no need for me to dwell in my own past when i need to get stronger." He said closing his eyes one more.

The greedy kitsune finally came to the end of the corridor, a slightly feral look in her eyes as she surveyed the area for the source of the glint. The room she found herself in almost made her reconsider her quest for money...almost. The floor seemed to have crumbled and caved in on itself, forming some sort of conical indention into the center of the room. In the middle of the indent, the floor seemed to have caved even further, giving way and opening up into a seemingly bottomless chasm. Around the edges of the sink were collapsed pillars and rotting walls, looking ready to fall at any moment. Worse than all of this was the ceiling of the room. Large stone blocks were visibly sliding out of place, preparing to drop themselves upon anyone foolish enough to just walk in carelessly. There were so many reasons to turn around at this point, but none of those registered. "Alright gold, where are ya?" Halwill whispered harshly as she edged carefully into the room. She was certain that the shimmer came from this particular room, but beyond rot and decay, this room was basically empty. She growled silently, very tempted to stomp in frustration, before she noticed an odd light in the very opposite corner of the room. 'GOLD?!" Sure enough, the shimmer was very prominent on the other side of the hazard field of a room. That didn't matter at all though because there was cash to be collected.

--------------------- Meara advances further in the ruins. The place must have been a big city/town because the ruins sure were big. The mage girl walked along a courtyard type area that probably served some sort of importance to the inhabitants for the ruins...before they were ruins. Meara frustratingly stomps. "I'm never gonna get this done, this is probably the millionth place I've been to!" She exclaims. The girl curses underneath her breath and continues. She looks in the center of the courtyard, grass grows tall. She wonders how it could grow but then remembers that rain could get in.
What was she doing? She was getting distraced. She needed to focus on the most important task at hand. Finding the moshi, then she could revive her family, then she could be happy. Feel at home, a place she hasn't felt in over 10 years of her life. The depressed mage girl sighs and creates a purple flame that crackles atop the palm of her hand. "WHY CAN'T I FIND THIS STUPID THING?!?!?!" She exclaims as she throws the flame across the courtyard, hitting a destroyed pillar, then exploding. Flames shot high in the air, along with rubble, dust and debris. She sighs. Now someone's probably going to find her. Knowing her luck it would be some undead, how ironic to her current situation.
The angered girl starts to run knowing that something would possibly come for her. She exits the courtyard and enters a house. Or..what used to be a house. The windows were broken in, shining light into the dark house. Dust covered the place and it made her sneeze. The house was pretty decent. It's walls were made of rock, it had a few beds and a place to prepare the food. As I said...decent. Meara takes more steps into the house. The place was too silent. She wasn't going to take any time for some monster to strike her dead. She searched the house like crazy for the Moshi. She honestly didnt' know what to look for. It was round is what her uncle told her. That wasn't very descriptive. The mage girl sighs as she searches through the cabinets of the house. ---------------------

Mustering up every single bit of stealth and grace she had refined in the years she had been a 'treasure hunter' of sorts, Halwill crept carefully towards the far end of the massive, deadly room. Not one to be brash, even in such an opportune situation, she stayed close to the walls, her eyes tranfixed on the source of the glistening. "No decrepid old room is going to stop me now..." she muttered as she crossed over one felled pillar situated at the nearest edge of the indention. Just as she stepped towards the midsection of the pillar, the ancient mast began to crumble under her feet.
The action happened too quickly for her to register and suddenly she was tumbling down into the massive pit. It took her a full three seconds to realize her life was in danger if she fell towards the chasm in the center before she quickly flipped onto her side to grip at the jutting tiles on the floor. She managed to find tile standing out enough to grab onto and saved herself from finding just how far down the hole went. Once she was sure she wouldn't fall any farther, she stayed in place for a moment. Halwill was experienced enough to know that if she made any sudden movements, she may send more debris down after her. One minute passed before the room seemed to settle once again. Lifting her head, her target was once again in sight. Finding a foothold, she began climbing out of the pit and back towards the more sturdy part of the room.
Once back on the steady platform, she began her progress towards the item once again. "Well, Halliviere, now that you are filthy stinking rich, what are you gonna do with the money?" she asked herself in a news reporter voice. "Interesting question, Jack. Now that I have more money than you ever will, I will buy a massive mansion that I will hardly ever even visit, tons of useless items that I dont even know the name of, and my own amusement park full of nothing but rollercoasters. Did I mention how much I hate rollercoasters, Chuck?" She paused midstride, almost as if she was contemplating her next answer. "And if I have any change left over, maybe I will donate it to charity...maybe." She slide under one overhanging pillar and between two more that had completely fallen. Just as she she made her way over a massive block, she looked to the side and saw the sparkling item that had captured her attention. Within an ornate dias, lay a small mocha brown orb. Within it swirled different shades of yellow, red, and orange. It was a beautiful item, perfectly unscathed amongst the mass of devastated structures, emiting a soft light that seemed to illuminate the room. The orb was mystifying and pristine and-- "A marble... I risked my life for a marble... It's not even a decently sized marble." She snarled at the orb and turned on her heel, crossing her arms and grumbling to herself. "I knew I shouldn't have suggested leaving anything for charity." Throwing a disapproving glance over her shoulder, she decided to take the chunk of colored glass anyways. She DID risk her life for it and she could always pawn it off to a marble collector. Just as Halwill took the orb out of the dias, however, the entire room began to shake violently.

Sitting there resting like he has no worries for anything are anybody in the world, soon herd sounds come from the buildings in the ruins. " Hmmph i knew this place couldnt remain paceful with this old useless buildings." Opening his eyes looking for the building causing such noises, catching sight of the building he gazed at it as the building shook like it was coming down from the inside out. " Im surprised that it stood so long without falling from the wind around it, but everything comes down to its end like dying because no one can run from it." He said then sighed as the blew a nice relaxing breeze through the air, thinking to himself. " Should i really stay here any longer should i stay in this slowly dying area or should i move one to another." He thought but didn't care move, closing his eyes once more.

The room shook with violent tremors as the ceiling began to fall apart. The wall were fairing no better as they began to crumble and collapse. All in all, she wasn't exactly pleased with the current situation. "All of this for a dirty marble..." she muttered disbelievingly. She glanced down at the small mocha orb, momentarily disregarding the danger around her to muse over the trinket. Against her better judgment, she shoved the orb in her pocket and made a mad dash for the entryway. Stone blocks and pillars seemed to come at her from all sides as she dodged and leapt with all of her strength. Just as she crossed over a jutting overture, the indenture in the center of the floor began to shift, almost as if it were a sinkhole made of quicksand. She was momentarily distracted by the sudden obstacle and failed to notice the chunk of stone that smashed against her shoulder, knocking her towards the pit. There was little else she could do accept tumble down to meet her fate, but that just wasn't the Halwill's way of doing things.
Screwing her eyes shut, she threw herself with all her strength against the edge of the pit, clawing wildly at solid ground. After a desperate attempt, she mannaged to pull herself out and continue towards the entry. Looking at the situation she was in, Halwill was quite proud of herself, actually. When it came to situations such as this, "strategic retreats" had always been her one true friend, but she seemed to be holding her own rather well this time around. Still, now was not the time to abandon one's strengths. So, with the grace and agility of one well versed in the art of running away, the kitsune's second wind finally kicked in and in a matter of moments she had leapt over the final obstacle and was safely in the much sturdier entry corridor. Panting harshly and feeling the supreme need to gloat, she turned towards the room that had caused her so much trouble and placed her hands on her hips, fully prepared to brag of her success. However, the words of self-praise never left her lips. Her eyes widened, only slightly, at the sight of the room, somehow reverted back to its original state of dishevelment, no signs of what just transpired. Her face straightened up quickly, though. She's traveled this world a few years now...she'd seen stranger things...
Letting out a very unladylike huff, she patted the pocket that contained the marble and turned back towards the exit. Dragging herself down the hallway, she followed her own scent back towards open air. Once outside, she turned again to face a nearby wall, and promptly planted her face against the harsh stone, her own silent form of depression.

His eyes open as he herd nothing the ruins was silent once more. " It stop." he said with a sigh as he looked ar the building the was suppost to collape as he rest. he sit their and thought to himself. " why didn't such an old thing go down like the others." He said as he stood up ontop of the old stone pillar, looking around at the entrace he saw a woman there with her head leaning agaisnt the wall to him that is a bit and show that hse worries in her life. " Hmm was she in there how did she make it out." he jumped off the stone pillar and landed on teh ground gentle, starting to walk in her direction. " Hey lady im surprised you made it out alive ." He stopped and looked at her, " But why didn't the building come down like it was ssppost to."

After banging her head against the stone wall a few good times to make sure that at least a handful of her brain cells were well and truly dead, Halwill lifted herself up and dusted off her clothes as if she didn't just have a 'moment'. "Well, that was interesting. It wasn't fun at all and I refuse to ever do it again, but it's definitely a story to tell my future children." After inspecting her person for any injuries she may not have noticed, she stretched her arms high into the air and let out another yawn, trying to play off her previous panic, even if she was the only witness to her own moment of weakness. Just as she inhaled deeply, however, she took in the scent of another person in the vicinity. Immediately, her eyes began darting around the area, searching for the potential threat. 'Other treasure hunters, perhaps? I haven't...well, I don't think I have any enemies after me... Probably just a coincidence that I ran into someone else out here.' Nodding at her own inner logic, she slid out of the defensive stance she hadn't realized she had taken on. "'Ey! Whoever you are, why not come on out? I know you're there, I'm not crazy!" she drawled out, not really having the patience or the energy to throw in manners.

Halwill's eyebrow twitched the moment the stranger opened his mouth. 'Oh boy! A comedian...' The kitsune had half a mind to keep on walking and ignore the guy altogether, but her pride had just been insulted. No, this person had not made a good first impression, at all. Lifting her head to glare at the guy, she calmly stated, "One, you have got to be pretty blind not to see how tired I am right now. Besides, my mental stability and my physical capability do not, in any way, coincide. Two, what makes you think I intend to tell some weird guy I just met what I was doing here? I got a good sniff of this place before I walked in that building and I didn't catch a single wiff of you. Apparently, I was here first, so why not tell me what YOU'RE doing here?" Her tone was cold and condescending as she ground out her words. Sure she was pretty winded, but she did have enough air in her to let this guy get an earful. Only two sentences and she was already annoyed to death with this person, whoever he was. She met his neutral expression with a slightly disgruntled one, fully intent to stare the stranger down.

--------------------- Meara sighs after ransacking the small house. Nothing could be found. "These freaking things are hidden so perfectly" she says before banging her fist on the wall to her right. A single tear runs down her face but she quickly wipes it away. She would do this, she would do this for them. She had no other reason to be here other than them. WHY couldn't she find it?!?! Why is her luck so bad?
"What's the point?" Meara says in a sad tone. The mage girl exits the house, depressed, a single tear rolling down her cheek, then drops into the dry ground of the ruins. He looks down until she hears a weird noise. A rattling sort of noise. She looks up slowly to see a skeleton slowly limping over to her. Well now she knows she DID wake some undead up with her mistake. She sighs, puts her hand out in front of her, a flame grows within her palm, once it grows to the size of a ball she throws it at the skeleton. The skeleton instantly combusted yet kept it's pace while walking towards Meara, the flames didn't hurt it at all Meara sighed. She looked at a rock in the distance, her eyes started to glow a purple color and the rock did the same. It was lifted from the ground, and moved towards the skeleton, it hits the bones and shatters them underneath it's great mass. The ground started to shake when the rock landed on the skeleton. She probably woke a bunch more of those things up. She sighed as she started to run, she needed to get out of here before the place would be flooded with undead. --------------------- //Exit To Somewhere Close
