I use Windows XP and I can't figure out how to install the Japanese characters on my computer.
Its driving me nuts and its really putting a halt on learning for me.. (I haven't stopped learning because of this, so don't take that the wrong way.. Its just difficult when I can't type the characters on my computer) ;n;
I was able to install it on my xp laptop no problem, but I don't have it anymore.
Does anyone have a solution? Any help is seriously appreciated.
I wasn't sure where to post this, so I chose the main forum.
Any and all help would be nice~ C:>

there is a way you can install it
1. find control panel and click on it
2. find Date, time, language and region.
click on it and well find the language you want. if you find Japanese then install it.
3. you have to type it in Japanese words for hiragana and katana to show up.
4. I recommend you take Japanese guild or online course to understand the material.
5. network with someone from Japan. they can speak with the language. have a friend or someone you know from home or a classmate from Japan.

First of all I've been studying Japanese for a long while now. Secondly, Whenever I try it says to insert a CD or something along those lines. I don't know how to get around that. My laptop never asked for that. D:
