Several things I'd like to say.

First, I'm sorry for the other game I left hanging a while ago; personal issues had come up, as they are wont to do, and my schedule was just more difficult than I could handle.

See, my dad recently revealed he had colon cancer, which led to my needing to help out around the house and to get a job. Thankfully, my father's surgery went better than anyone expected; the oncology reported only a stage 1 infection, which hadn't even breached the organ's wall. He might not even have to go through chemotherapy, and with the surgery being laproscopic, he's already back home and recovering nicely.

At the same time, my job is surprisingly leaving my hours open thus far, and I'm having a great time doing it. When september rolls around, it might change, but all in all, I still have plenty of free time on my hands.

Now, the second thing I'd like to say, is that I'm sorry for being so unreliable in general. It's already made my games sink into the ground, repeatedly, because nobody wants to play with a DM who never shows up. I get that. But, what I'd like to know is if there's anything I can do to make it up to you guys. Now that everything in my life's been organized, I can be on this forum far more often than usual.

With that in mind, would you guys mind letting me back into the fun?

Yay for family members recovering from colon surgery! *gives EMC a high five*

I've been trying to visit my grandmother often as she recovers from hers (a slower process at 78, plus it was a full-blown colostomy), since my mother lives much further away and can't visit her often. On a slightly related note, convalescent homes now unsettle me and I hope I never get placed in one.

EDIT Or, 30 minutes after I post that, I can get word about my grandmother having a heart attack and going back into the hospital. *sighs*
