this one guild i'm helping start back up...
((this is related to another guild, which is why it's in this subforum, and not the rant one. it fits in both, though))
the list:
-only 3 subforums had rules (until i put them in the others)
-can't spell worth s--t
-never on
-has the Crew and Vice Captains doing all the work
-is clueless overall
and to ice the cake:
-i suggest having the guild become affiliated with others. what does she do? she accepts it, but makes you have to pay-per-day, or a fixed fee to be affiliated permanently. she keep on changing the prices, but the post recent was about 100-per-day or 10k permanent
this is the first guild i've seen where one has to pay to be affiliated with it. you guys know of any other(s)? (i sure hope not)

she actually gave up after 2 months because the guild was inactive.
me and one other convinced her otherwise, but now?
it doesn't seem like it was a good idea anymore...*sigh*

she actually gave up after 2 months because the guild was inactive.
me and one other convinced her otherwise, but now?
it doesn't seem like it was a good idea anymore...*sigh* Wow, I didn't give up my guild when it was inactive and now look at it. Over 1000 members.
I don't think it's a good idea either.

I don't think it's a good idea either. mine's only ever got 2 (occasionally 3) active members other than me, but do you see me giving up? noooooo
if she had sold it to some random Gaian, we had probably a 50/50 shot of either someone who knew what they were doing or someone like her. aie

look at my guild. 3 years old, refurbed half a year ago. i think it's set up decently (the banner of it is also a link to the guild's home page)
has more activity now than before it was all changed up
