Story:
They say, when you share something so strong with someone else it's the key to a heart. Music is a passion that is the key to hearts of thousands of people everywhere. Sharing a common love can occasionally lead to love. He was the biggest thing in music. He did classic, rock, pop, and rap. He climbed his way through the charts to number one in a matter of months. Music became his life, music videos, music shoots, record signings, concerts, his list went on and on. Music just became a chore and the passion of music had begun to fade. She was born into a below average life, her family lived from paycheck to paycheck and any extra money they could rake in. She worked at a small cafe in the town and then went to the streets with her guitar and played for money. She did her best to help her family and they seemed to be doing okay for the most part. Music was the only thing that kept her going in life and made her work even harder.

Full Name: Collin Heavens Nick Name: Collin Age: 20 Personality: Collin is a modern day legend music artist. However, he's not the usual celebrity. He's very sociable with his fans, and he never forgot where he came from. However, lately he's been stressed, since he no longer has the urge to write lyrics. He comes off as a bit edgy and acts lazy these days. However, he's still looking out for something that can inspire him. Likes: Music, comedies, art, and heritage Dislikes: Writer's block, paparazzi, copy cats, parodies, and horror films Piercing/Tattoos: He has a tattoo of a treble clef on his chest. Bio: Collin was born in the big city of San Francisco. He was born in a neighborhood of drinking, partying, drugs, strip clubs, prostitutes, family, and, best of all, music. It wasn't the best place for a kid to be raised, but he grew up strong and smart. He was into music since he was in his mother's stomach, when his mother let him listen to Mozart and Bach in her womb. He was born with rhythm. He played the drums, adapted the piano, and started to get into other instruments. As he got older, he started to write lyrics about life and the society of San Francisco. At fourteen, he was given a contract with a big record company, and he's been on the rise ever since. He's been in the scene with almost every genre of music out there. It's been a good career, but recently Collin has been having some difficulty with writing lyrics. He can't find the inspiration anymore. The record company is talking to him about getting a lyric writer, but he wants to write his own lyrics. Picture:

Kat grabbed her guitar and set it on her knee. Behind her was a fountain, propping her guitar case open for people to throw cash inside. She gave herself a few cords before she started playing. People slowly gathered round listening to Kat play. When she felt she had enough people she smiled and started singing This is Real by Demi Lovato. " I've always been the kind of girl, that hid my face, So afraid to tell the world, what I've got to say, But I have this dream, bright inside of me, I'm gonna let it show, it's time, to let you know, to let you know, This is real, this is me, I'm exactly where I'm supposed to be now, Gonna let the light, shine on me, Now I've found who I am, There's no way to hold it in, No more hiding who I wanna be, This is me Do you know what it's like, to feel so in the dark? To dream about a life, where you're the shining star, Even though it seems, like it's too far away, I have to believe, in myself, it's the only way, You're the voice I hear inside my head, The reason that I'm singing, I need to find you, I gotta find you, You're the missing piece I need, The song inside of me,I need to find you, I gotta find you This is real, this is me, I'm exactly where I'm supposed to be now, Gonna let the light, shine on me, Now I've found who I am, there's no way to hold it in, No more hiding who I wanna be, This is me, This is me You're the missing piece I need, the song inside of me, This is me You're the voice I hear inside my head, the reason that I'm singing. Now I've found who I am, there's no way to hold it in, No more hiding who I wanna be, This is me. " When she hit the last cord people clapped and threw some cash into the guitar case. "Thank you." Kat said to every person that threw cash inside.

'The beat, the drums, and the girl that's my only one. We're here, we're now, now let's settle to the crowd-' Collin groaned, looking down at his notebook. 'And I'm stuck again,' Collin thought to himself as he scratched his head. The one place he normally found inspiration still couldn't help him for some reason. "Apparently park benches are no longer my top place to go," He said to himself. He kept a white hood up and sunglasses so no one could recognize him. However, some people still give him a few glances and whisper to each other about it. He put his notebook down and stretched. Closing his eyes, he heard a song that almost made him laugh. "You're the missing piece I need, The song inside of me, I need to find you, I gotta find you..." Collin got up and walked over to the voice to see it was a street player next to the water fountain. She was good. Good enough to get out of the streets and even get a few gigs if she ever had the opportunity given to her. He sighed and listened to the rest of the song. That was how he started off, he recalled, but he sang his own songs. When the song ended and everyone left, he threw in a twenty. "You're pretty good. Keep it up," He said with a half smile.

Collin watched her leave and he wondered. 'Why haven't I thought of it before?' he asked himself as he sat down on the side of the fountain, starting to write out the lyrics that came into his head.
Wake up, it's time to get down to it Wake up, it's time we get out of this wreck Wake up, you know you could do better If only you try to say
Isn't it enough to be happy The music can intervene This flow of time is enough To let us know what we need And that is love
You've got a hard little life of your own With a love for life but a duty to just be real Cuz you've got talent And you have the heart to do it Just listen to me And I'll tell you everything
Isn't it enough to be happy The music can intervene This flow of time is enough To let us know what we need And that is love
So baby turn up your radio I just wanna know what's on your mind Be it me or be it anything I just hope you can see That you can rule the world with just one chord
But isn't it enough to be happy The music can intervene This flow of time is enough To let us know what we need And that is love Yes that is love
He looked down at the lyrics he finished and sighed, looking up. 'Looks like I still have something in me,' he thought. He looked at the direction the girl went and smiled. "Looks like I should thank her some time, but for now, I gotta get to the studio," Collin took a skateboard out of his back pack and skated off to the recording studio, getting ready to make the last details.

Collin got into the studio to be confronted by his manager. "Please tell me you got something, boy. We need at least one song finished by the end of the da-" Collin shut his manager up by bringing up the lyrics. The manager, Harry, smiled. "I knew you still go it in you, boy," He said as he grabbed it and read over the lyrics. "Well, it may not be a top ten, but it has promise. How did you make up these lyrics?" Harry asked. Collin shrugged. "Oddly enough, street performers," He said, smirking. Harry tilted his head. "You're an odd kid, but you're a good one. Now let's finish the demo," He said as the both walked off to the recording studio. After several takes and tries with music and beat, it was finished. "Okay, that turned out way better than anticipated," Harry commented, mostly to himself. "Now, kid. Whatever you did to come up with these lyrics, keep doing it. I don't care what it takes. Need $1 million? I'd give it to you. Need a pony that's pink and poops butterflies? I'm right on it. I'm here for you kid, so if you need anything, just ask," Harry said as he left. Collin sighed. "That man is too much of a hassle," He said to himself. He walked out of the record studio and skated off, wondering. 'How am I going to be inspired by copycats?' He asked himself. It normally irritated him when people sang songs that weren't original, but why not this time? He lost his way, but didn't mind since he was too tracked in his thoughts.

Collin skated into an alley, skating by a few street dancers facing off. He smirked as he left them. It was funny to him on how many people wanted to be famous in dancing or singing. It was almost ridiculous. He turned on his iPod listening to Fireflight's Unbreakable. He wanted to head home, but wondered curiously if the girl was back at the fountain, but he had to get home, so he continued forward. e was about to skate across a street, he saw a shimmer of blue hair and was surprised to see the girl who was playing. He wondered if he should confront her. He decided to do so, figuring there couldn't be much to lose. He skated over to her, still covering his head in a hood but not too much to seem spooky. "Hey, you were performing in front of the fountain earlier today, weren't you?" He asked, sounding very casual.
