HALLO THAR SUITES!
I've been floating around Gaia for the past day or 2 and thought I'd check in on you all smile
My main big news is that I applied for a 3 month full time job with the Agri-Food and Biosciences Institute and got it! I started last Monday and I work in one of 7 branches, which does research on plant and seed testing, as well as testing new plant varieties so that their breeders can license and patent them. Basically, my job entails going out to fields of plant grids and recording measurements of plants that have sprouted. I also get to pick white clover plants and measure them, it's so interesting [/sarcasm]. The good thing is that most of the people I work with (with a notable exception) are really laid back and easy to get on with, so when the weather's nice, work can be fun!
I'm really happy because the job'll allow me to pay for my car insurance, which will reduce my weekly savings, which means I CAN GET A NEW PHONE biggrin
This aside, however, how are you guys? biggrin

Haha, thanks!
I'm looking at the HTC One S and the Sony Xperia S at the minute, though I'm really hesitant to go onto a 2 year contract (despite pretty much everyone I know being on one xd ).

Ooo sounds all sciency surprised
I got a new job too, though nothing as nifty sounding as yours (shhshhshsh it's not boring, it's FOR SCIENCE!). Sometime next week I start training in the grocery store meat department. ...made hilariously more awkward by the fact that my husband also works there gonk ...though he's pretty professional, so I don't foresee any issues other than the fact that I'll have to deal with his obnoxious habits more often, heh.
