He's not really known for his poems, but the one he did write was hilarious and flowed so naturally. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hkCR-w3AYOEHe's actually a standup comedian, and if you want to hear his stuff check out his old HBO specials, or read his books: "Brain Droppings" "Napalm and Silly Putty" and "When will Jesus Bring the Porkchops?"

Jack Prelutsky's poem "Homework" was always one of my favorites. Because it's school related and I don't need to stress any more how much I resent it. xD

Make my heart a better place...
This is and has been my favorite poem since 12th Grade.
The Clod and the Pebble by William Blake
"Love seeketh not itself to please, Nor for itself hath any care, But for another gives its ease, And builds a heaven in hell's despair."
So sung a little Clod of Clay, Trodden with the cattle's feet, But a Pebble of the brook Warbled out these metres meet:
"Love seeketh only Self to please, To bind another to its delight, Joys in another's loss of ease, And builds a hell in heaven's despite." Give me something I can believe...
