Music
Pick up the instrument...
Take a deep breath.
Let the music fill you...
Play until death.
Fade away from the world...
Let the music carry you in.
Forget about all else...
Let the adventure begin.
Travel with music leading the way...
Arrive somewhere unknown.
Don't dwell in the places of the past...
Find solitude in your time alone.
Fly away from all heartbreak...
On wings made of sound.
Let the music heal your wounds...
Forget the pain to which you're bound.
Open up your mind...
Rejoice and free your soul.
Shake off the shadows of your past...
Let the music make you whole.

I Long For The End
Drowning in a sea of troubles,
Slowly sinking deeper.
Fighting death, wanting breath,
The light grows steadily dimmer.
Memories flicker through my mind,
Replaying grievances past.
Taunting me, haunting me,
How long will I last?
The pain slowly doubles,
I long for the end.
To sleep, to dream,
Into death I descend.
But what will I find
Amongst the sleep of the dead?
Dreams of grief or relief,
Or an echo of the life that I fled?
**note: this poem was an assignment for my AP Lit class when I was still in high school. We were supposed to rewrite the Hamlet "To be or not to be" speech.

This War
I travel slowly through my mind
as I struggle to fall asleep.
I become trapped inside
before I realize I've gone too deep.
My demons come to challenge me,
I recoil back in fear.
I start to back away
not wanting them to be near.
Suddenly one runs at me,
and pushes me to the ground.
I struggle to get away
but I'm effortlessly held down.
The rest come and surround me,
my hands and feet are bound.
Reluctantly I give up the struggle,
and lay warily on the ground.
I feel them lashing out at me,
with their barbed words and violent blows.
I curl up in a ball
and scream as the agony grows.
I'm lifted off the ground,
I begin struggling once again.
The pain is almost blinding,
but I can't just let them win.
Their bruising hold tightens,
making me cry out in pain.
I've achieved nothing but exhausting myself,
my fighting has been in vain.
We arrive at a huge metal cage,
they throw me in and lock the door.
I feel myself losing hope
I'll never win this war.

She Can't Stop Him
fear wracks her body.
heart racing,
mind freezing,
nothing makes sense.
aware only of the terror.
wanting to run,
but unable to move.
wanting to scream,
but unable to even whimper.
pain tears through her body.
she shuts her eyes,
as silent tears fall.
she wants to fight,
to do something to prevent this,
but she's paralyzed.
she can't stop him.
his hands travel down her body,
relishing her untouched flesh.
he lingers in certain areas,
savoring her virginal taste.
taking what he wants,
conquering her innocence,
taking pleasure in her pain.
his big body crushing her small one,
he moves lower and lower,
slowly corrupting every inch of her.
savagely he goes down on her,
he feels her body finally jerk.
she struggles away from his touch,
but he smiles cruelly,
and relentlessly continues.
he knows she can't stop him.

This poem isnt very good but it is about Dementors...you know, from the Harry Potter series!? But i made this almost a year ago and wanted to post it.
Black and scabbed,
floating, gliding,
as dark hooded figures,
bring sadness from despair,
making people feel blue,
sucking happiness out of you.
Who guard the prisoners of Azkaban,
treating them like dirt as they glide pass them.
Dont trust them,
but you have to miss,
watching a dementor kiss.
Sucking the soul right out of you..
definetily worse than real death,
....or feeling blue.
