So, I was re-watching Jim Henson's Labyrinth and I had an interesting theory: Jareth wasn't really a "Goblin King". He says that he created the world, kidnapped the child, reordered time, etr all for her.
My theory is that he made himself the Goblin King because that's what Sarah wanted. That he wasn't really the King of the Goblins but rather some other semi-omnipotent being.

What's your take on this idea?
Does it sound plausible or am I just over thinking a silly movie?
