I was out eating with my dad today, and a guy that wasn't our original waiter came over to give us our food.
And he was just like OH HAI. THIS SALAD MUST BE YOURS.
Lol. b***h plz. talk2hand
He looked completely shocked when I told him that no, the salad was my dad's. I apparently don't look like the type to order chicken with some sauce that is probably somewhat unhealthy, mac and cheese, and fries.
That or my dad doesn't look like the salad type. Or because I'm a woman, I should eat salads and complain about carbs and fat. Not sure.
BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY SUITES. YOU GUYS SHOULD TELL ME YOUR FAVORITE ALCOHOLIC DRINKS. I'm legal now, and I've technically only taken like a sip of some random s**t my cousin shoved at me when I was like 12, and it sucked and was probably super cheap shitty stuff. So I have no idea what drinks/alcohol/whatever is good. It sounds like some type of gibberish to me. My roommate could really just be stringing together random syllables together, and I would just be like, "Totally. Sounds awesome. You make that."

My personal favorite is Sex on the beach. Not 'cause of the name either. It's a fruity drink that's pretty tasty. It doesn't taste like alcohol at all which is why I like it.

An amaretto sour is good for beginners.

I'm not much for alcohol at all unless I'm wine pairing with dinners. ...Though I never could resist a ginger mojito.
Also if your city is anything like mine, the majority of youthful women of various backgrounds obsess over salads and low-carb diety things probably because a good 75% of the restaurant food available is shitty fastfood or wildly unhealthy diner-fare xp Also I live nowhere close to fresh produce so them salads are just that much more hot a commodity O_o
Supply & demand is funny that way.

Strawberry margaritas and just about anything you can do with a chocolate liquer, including plain old shots. Be careful, they sneak up on you. ;D

I hate when waiters assume that. D;
Rum and Coke is simple and easy to get down. I'm not a huge drinker but I can get down on that.
Happy belated birfday. :3

Cowboy shots! And i love long island iced teas, but they are brutal. My drink of choice is southern comfort and sprite, but i am also partial to Mount Gay Rum and a good pinot grais (white wine). Hubby got me started on screw-ups too (vodka, oj and 7-up) Midori splice is good if you like cream drinks (Midori, Malibu, pineapple juice and sprite) (Can you tell i am married to a bartender?) xD

@Juni Yeah. I don't see myself drinking a bunch, but I want to at least try some stuff.
Maybe. I guess I'm just used to going out with women who don't really care? My roommate gets salads sometimes, but that's usually when she isn't sure if there is gluten in the other meals.
@Sith I'll probably be doing these in the privacy of my own apartment, so I'll just pass out on the couch. ;D
@Bio WHY HELLO THERE.
Thanks.
@Cold Lol. I'll have to see what I can buy small bottles of or what my roommate can have so we can share.

i haven't branched out too much as of late, because i'm broke. vodka cranberry, vodka/malibu/tequila sunrises are good for these such times (cheap, stereotypical girlie drinks, haha). aside from agreeing with most of the other suggestions, i'd like to say that right now, i'm diggin' on rekorderlig cider at the moment, also because it's cheap (if you buy it from a store, not when at a bar/club, then its hella over priced).

YES. A THOUSAND TIMES YES. It depends what I'm in the mood for, normally I'll drink cider (Magners is our local brand but I also drink flavoured stuff like Rekorderlig and Kopparberg) and when I want to switch to the hard stuff I drink Captain Morgans and Coke wink Apart from those, I don't really drink much else, I tend to stay away from vodka bcause it makes me cry (for like 5 minutes, then I'm perfectly fine) and tequila just makes me want to be sick sweatdrop

@Pain: gin and tonics are pretty aiight too, in my opinion, apparently not in anyone else's though. =(
