So, I was thinking of different things I wanted to accomplish and I thought I'd make a list of areas I wanted to improve in this year!

Thought it might be fun to put people's lists up, and then possibly specific resources to help with each list ^_^

Maybe play around with some different stuff, I found a few pencils I didnt realize I had xd

I guess here's my list.
detail
simplicity(being able to simplify form to clear silhouettes)
less painterly more vector(but still be able to do both)
line art
be more stylistic.

Emotional color
Dramatic perspective
Drama and emotion in general in my works XD
Settings and environments
Perspective
Style studies/copies
Edit: Oh yeah, and subtle/complex facial expressions

I'd also like to get more comfortable working without reference, but the best way to do that is work WITH references extensively. XD

Oh so much I want to improve on but I'll start with a little list.
1. Hands! Work on the hands, penguin fingers are just not cute!
2. Feet. I need to stop with the Wilma Flintstone feet!
3. Try new poses! I'm stuck in a rut of generic pin up poses. So more action shots.
4. Shading with a light source.
5. Start drawing noses. Just to add more shape on the face.

I want to do more personal 3D work, ._. I've been doing a lot of personal 2D work for a long time, but for 3D its mostly stuff work related. So yea more personal 3D work : )

I must add something to my list now, I've been wanting to develope a second style for a while now, but.. I havent found something I am really happy with yet.

I'll be happy with any improvement I can get, but these are the things I tend to avoid because I'm not too great with them >.<;;
