but then again.. I cant actually tell you my skill level >.< I'm just guessing on the water ripples, and going to do even more guessing on where the water ripples meets the refletions, and the horizon line >.< I dont think I have posted a chibi of mine in here before.. I havent done many though. So critique please? and this is fanart of Seto! From Fragile Dreams! whee I plan on coloring this, and my sis apparently wants to do it digitally too. Now my problem is.. the reflection of Seto.. looks like scribbles >.<

its a really nice drawing Vanna : ) its a little hard to make out because the pencil marks fade out a little, but from what I can see it looks very nice, I'd love to see this once its coloured in 3nodding
As for cretics the only thing I'll say is the posing looks a little stiff, boxish... but its a huge improvement from what I saw you drawing a few months ago so I really feel like your evolving fast : D !!!!! good to see that!!! keep up the great work ^_^

I'd say get reference. The water reflections could be helped a great deal if you had photo reference of water reflecting things(maybe one of water reflection at night would help even more). Do a google search on it.
Also, perspective isn't working very well for you. It looks like it's one point perspective. You can draw a point from the horizon and draw perspective lines out to help you. But... point on angles and composition. The composition feels very heavy on the right side, because you have the character and her reflection which makes most of it on the right. It would be better if it were more balanced. I am thinking if you started the composition with the dock not so horizontal and with maybe a foreground object to the left, it'd feel better.

I know someone found me an awesome reference for this, but I still fail >.<
Seto, is a boy, he's a character from Fragile Dreams, but I can see the where the confusion lies.

I'd just say get into the habit of gathering reference for whatever you're working on. Don't wait for someone to tell you or do it for you.
