I just saw the movie, and I loved it!!!!!!!! The writers did a good job in deciding what to take out and put in. Having the author help write it must have helped.

I saw it and thought it was AWESOME!!!!! Although there were a few things I think they should have kept in and some scenes they should have made longer, I was very happy with the job that they did. I like how they showed Snow and how unhappy he was with Katniss as well as how they showed District 11 and the start of the rebellion. In my opinion, they did very well in keeping true to the characters and the acting was pretty good. Oh and I also liked how they showed the control room for the Hunger Games. I thought that was pretty awesome.

Yeah, my brother (who has not read the book) went with me, I explained somethings. He was amused by things appearing in the arena. It was nice how they but some more explanations into what goes on in the background. I also understand why they cut out some characters, they did a nice job explaining the back story.

Yeah, my cousin went too without reading the book and when I asked her about it she said she was able to understand pretty well. It took her a while to understand why they had the games but after a little while they got it. I feel kind of bad for the other people who played tributes and stuff cause they didn't get to have a lot of screen time and stuff. I wish Rue had been in it a little longer too but other than that I was happy.

I saw it yesterday early in the morning smile I loved it !!! The scenes they did show were awesome. Loved the look of the control room for the games smile Rues scene was sooo sad and I teared up even more when it showed district 11. The director did well and love the cast smile
I was a little disappointed in how the mutts looked. I thought they would have done a lot more oh well. LOL

Have seen the movie and read all the books. biggrin Am looking forward to seeing how the next movie is going to treat some of the game action and pestilence that is in the second book.
