ⓅⒺⓇⓈⓄⓃⒶⓁⒾⓉⓎ➸ Shizuka shows herself as being quiet. She gives off the vibes of not wanting to near anyone and everyone avoids her at school. Her face never shows a frown, nor does it show a smile as it is always emotionless. Which tends to make people just think she is anti-social. Which she is in a way because she only talks to her family that are willing to have a conversation with her. Often times, she skips school because she finds it more miserable there with everyone staring at her than it is to at home getting torn down by the 'god' of their family.
Shizuka never really talks. Just nods and does hand gestures, unless she is asking for something that needs words. It's not that she can't speak, it's that she refuses to speak to others. You can technically label her as 'Mute'. She has no problem not talking. Usually the only people she talks to is the Dragon for medical purposes, the Rooster, and sometimes the Horse and Boar. Often she has violent meetings and yelling fits at the rat. Sometimes she starts it, but most of the time the rat just pushes her over the head where she is pushed over the edge and just snaps. She does have a bad temper and usually punches walls or mirrors when she is upset. One or two punches usually helps, and then carries on with her day.
On the inside Shizuka longs for people to give her kind attention so she can show them how kind and gentle she can be. No one will give her that chance she longs for. Being oblivious though, she doesn't notice when people do give her a chance because she is so used to them not. From being isolated for so many years, she does find it hard to open up to her family or strangers because she is in the habit of blocking the world out and having a cage surrounding her heart completely. The only time she shows her true gentle side is when she is dealing with the young Rooster.
ⒷⒾⓄⒼⓇⒶⓅⒽⓎ➸ From the moment Shizuka was born her mother and father rejected her. Right after she was let out of the hospital, she was sent to the main Sohma estate's door step and she was raised there. The others kids on and off the estate always made fun of her and she hated how she constantly had to be wearing the white and brown beaded bracelet that the Sohma adults always made sure she had on. She never understood the reasons until she was about 5 years old and the stupid rat rubbed it harshly in her face. From that day was the day she started isolating herself. Even as a child she pretty much took care of herself and looks to stray cats. She saw the as being the same as her. Lost and alone.
As Shizuka got older she picked up other soothing hoobies and started talking to other members of the family. Though she still believed that it was best if she hid herself most of the time. Being a bottomless pit as a child went to being very selective on foods at an older age. Around age 11 the cat started having vision problems in her right eyes. It always hurt and she felt it was hard to close it and constantly cried to the Dragon, which got her hit in the end every time by the 'god'. Eventually someone took her to the hospital and learned she had eye care in that eye. The only way it would be cured was to take out that eye and that's exactly what they did and replaced it with a glass eye. Later she got very high prescription glasses for her other eye.
Now Shizuka as grown up and knows how to make better choices. Though she doesn't anyway. She still fights violently with the rat, skips school, and pushes away mostly everyone she can. The cat runs into things a lot though. She also tends to be rather clumsy. Changes seem to come to her often too from the stress of having to deal being by herself through silence constantly. The stress she rarely feels. She secretly longs for someone to care for her like the horse cares for her son.

Every picky little detail must be perfect, otherwise Akemi feels like she might explode, but she won't reveal that to any audience of course. Image is everything to her and she would never in a million years want outsiders to know that she is rather relaxed and short-tempered at home. ⒷⒾⓄⒼⓇⒶⓅⒽⓎ➸ Akemi was born to a young couple who'd longed for a child their entire marriage career, but they had been told that they would not be able to have any children. Determined to have a child, her mother actually managed to become pregnant with none other than her fiery self. Throughout the nine months of developement, her mother had progressively become more and more weak, so much so that the doctors told her that it would be best just to remove the child from her; to remove the child so that she would be able to live a normal life. But her mother was a loving woman who had grown too attached to the child within her womb. Nine months after conceiving Akemi, she gave birth to the tiny babe who looked like an angel sent down from heaven. Her mother actually managed to live through the birthing process, which was a miracle in itself, but the heaven-sent child before them was everything that no one could even dream of.
The moment her father held his precious angel in his arms, she turned into a baby rat, a monster. Her mother managed to grab Akemi away before her father could kill her. He threatened her mother, told her that she was nothing but a devil sent from hell to punish them for no good reason, but her mother pleaded that they kept her, that he would at least pretend to love the child that he had once loved while in the womb. Loving his wife more than anything, he promised that he would act as the 'demons' father and perhaps find a way to restore the child to humanity, no matter the cost. From that day on, he kept distant from Akemi, never once hugging her or kissing her on the forehead as her mother often did. He was always working 'at the lab' and going to the bar only to come home drunk.
Having kept hidden from the "Zodiac Radar", Akemi didn't have the slightest idea as to what she actually was until one fateful day at the park. She had been playing tag with several of her childhood friends, having the best of times, but the worst of times crept upon her and struck without warning. One of the little boys that she'd been playing with accidentally tripped and wrapped his arms around Akemi. Poof. She was a tiny rat. Finally her Sohma heritage shone through the mysterious shroud and she was taken to live at the Sohma estate like all of the other Zodiac members, never to live the life of a normal child again. Of course, her mother moved to the estate with her due to her terrible health, but her father mysteriously vanished from the picture.
Being raised as the God's favorite, Akemi grew an ego of sorts, but she still had an innocent heart that longed for better days; days without tears to be shed for sadness. She wanted nothing more than to be normal again. But due to the fact that she disliked living on the estate, she was allowed to move in with the Dog and is currently living with them. ⓁⒾⓀⒺⓈ➸

She is extremely sweet and kind. Along with that, she is extremely passive, which means she says yes to everything because she can't find it in her heart so say no. She is very friendly, outgoing, and bubbly but not too over the edge. When her family members fight, she finds herself being or trying to be the peace keeper and get them to stop so Blake, their god, won't get mad. She tried to do a lot to make him as happy as possible. Not only is she kind, but she is extremely polite. She says 'thank you' and puts -sama or -senpia behind anyone's name that is older than her. Ami likes to say sorry for things that aren't her fault and for things that don't necessarily need sorry to be added to them.
The only bad things about Ami's personality is her inability to say no and she hides her feeling from others. She doesn't want to bother people with them, so she keeps them to herself. Which sometimes causes her to be distant, upset, emotional, and complete opposite of her normal self. She is very bad at hiding her feelings, even if she thinks she is good at it. It also causes her to feel lonely. Though things rarely bug her to the point that she gets that way. Sometimes if people won't talk to her, she gets sad and hides in her room and plays video games.
Another thing about her is that she can be very persuasive sometimes. Both only uses her tricks to bring her family together.ⒷⒾⓄⒼⓇⒶⓅⒽⓎ➸ Ami never knew her parents from the get-go. She is very glad for this but has a picture of them in her room. When she was born, they really did want to keep her and protect her from the world. They were very poor though and knew of the main estate. It didn't take them long to decide to drop her off there, though it broke their hearts because they didn't want to leave their little girl. Freak or not. They knew that her living with the estate was for the best though.
So in the middle of a warm summer night they took her to the estate. They had contacted the Horse and Dragon before, so they met them outside the gate. They took the little,baby rabbit from her parents. They were teen themselves at the time. Anyway, they took her to meet the two-year-old god. Since then she has lived at the estate with them and has always had a childish heart. She often nicknames the horse 'mom' because of the whole situation. And since she was little, she has always had a fond liking towards the god. Ami often clings to him and likes to stay at his side. She loves to make him smile. She likes going to school but often makes up excuses to go home because she tends to cling to the horse, dragon, rooster, and god. She loves the rooster very dearly and likes to buy him sweets everyday on her way home from school. She does cling to the rest of her family, especially at school. She just feels closer to those four because she spends most of her time with them. ⓁⒾⓀⒺⓈ➸

When she gets older, she wants to follow in the Dragon's foot steps and be a doctor. So she often asks him if she can help when he takes care of the god and other family members. She also likes to cook nightly meals, so she does that often and tries to get her family to eat together in the same room. The cat is the one always left out of things, yet..she is still here today; nothings stopping her..even if she does act like it....B-but he would never say that to her! And the Ox because the Ox has been around Riku for a VERY long time, the Ox too has so much courage!
Riku looks weak and acts weak, but he has the tiger spirt in him, and even if he doesn't know it right now! He is strong..very strong inside!
ⒷⒾⓄⒼⓇⒶⓅⒽⓎ➸ Riku is a only child to one of the more rich families in the Sohma family, not as rich as the God's but not as poor as others. He was born a wonderfully kind, yet strict parents. His parent's were one of those over protective ones, and he was often isolated from most of the others, although the Ox moved in with his amily do to some things, but that wasn't till he was in elementary school.
Before elementary school he was quite talkative and had lots of attitude, he was a spoiled brat, really. Although he was spoiled he was really sensitive and being stuck inside his parent's house was horriable, they didn't even let him go see God.
Very upset he often went to his Aunts and Uncles. He would run away, yes. He did this for a year without being caught..his Aunt and Uncle didn't even know he was a member of the Zodiac, he would just say his parents told him to go spend time with him.
Than after two years of doing this his parents caught him. His aunt and uncle came over one day, they were having a celebration! His aunt was pregant! He was going to have a cousin! He was so excited to hear he was going to have a cousin..maybe when he sneeked over he could go play with her! Better yet, maybe she would be a Zodiac member! ..However at the same time he hoped she wouldn't have to go through the pain of him-self and the others had to go threw.
Later on that night however some how unknowingly His aunt and uncle brought up curiously why they kept sending the boy to their home. The parents quickly dening that and upset and angry they questioned Riku and his Aunt and Uncle and became so mad they couldn't stand it, they literally threw Riku into his room and lo cked his door, crying though Riku listened through the door.
"He is a horriable boy he could get him-self hurt! U-ugh..he drives me mad!"
His parents were starting to go towards rejecting him, yet they just couldn't..after a while though they calmed down and the adults started whispering about things..Riku knew it was about him; and later that night they came barging in yelling at him! They told his Aunt and Uncle that Riku was "Bad" and that he was forbidden to go over there ever again. They continued and said they didn't want his flithy hands to touch his Aunt's and Uncle's 'pure' child.
After that day, Riku stopped going over there and lived a isolated toddler life.
Soon though he was aloud..even with his parents arguments over and over with the god and the others, to go to school. At first he loved it playing with the Ox and the rabbit and sheep..and watching the Car from afar. Although one year he was put into a separt class from the rest, it was in 4th grade...thats when it started, he was being rejected from everyone, rumors made about why he was so snobby and wasn't aloud to hang out with anyone, and always stayed away from the girl, plus his almost golden hair, and his to bright for words eyes.
He told the other family members to stay out of it, that he would be fine, his stubborn-ness kicked in and he tryed to defined him-self...yet everyone then ignored him, even though his family didn't when he did somethign they would all laugh and when he would try to say something they would scream and shout over his words....soon he became afaird to talk...and now in present time..he just can't anymore..he feels as though no one loves him no more, when he goes home he can't see his Aunt or Uncle, or maybe his little Cousin.. At school he is mad fun of..the only thing keeping him here is his bonds with his Zodiac Members.

Rei loves every person, she doesn't understands everyone, and most important...She doesn't judge anyone{Well in a bad way}

Rei grew up with wonderful parents, although sometimes they would look out the window across a few streets to another house by the main house..
She was always curious about that and one time when she asked they gave her a picture of a little boy, who looked ALOT like her, and said that was her cousin, and said that he pasted away but he use to live there. Which was a lie..Riku's parent's told Rei's parents, a few years after the big night. Rei and neither of her parent's knew that though.
She felt like he must of been very important to her parents, and with that smile he must of been a very nice person..that incouraged her to become someone happy and loving. She wanted to be like her Cousin..making her own image of him. She slowly strived to be like him, cuting her hair short and smiling even if the situation didn't call for it. Her Parents seeing the resemblense would always tear up.
Although her parents were gone alot when she started school, they became very busy bussinness people traveling across the world, leaving Rei behide..alone. However she substuted them with her dolls, friends, Books about the cute little Zodiacs, and her picture. She grew up like this, and her Parents are now leaving for a long time..and without really asking Riku's Parent's they told Rei she would stay with them for the next month, not going over it with Rei or Riku's Parent's she was locke dout of the house and forcused to live there...and thats where the story begins!!! Not seeming like a violent person at all, he's always smiling and in a cherry, bubbly mood. But he does have a split personality, but only around the cat. Around the cat, he gets hot tempered and violent. Very forceful, demanding, and his whole demeanor changes and he's quite scary
ⒷⒾⓄⒼⓇⒶⓅⒽⓎ➸ Koichi grew up loved by everyone, being the boar, people were wary about making him angry. They always tried to treat him nice so he would remain sweet and nice to them, which he did so. They were always careful about what they said to him, but he learned why. He played with the cat as a child, she was always scared of him, but not because of what he was or who he was, it was because she was outcasted by the family and he didn't know why. But when he learned, he understood, but didn't care. He hung around her more often, which made the God very angry, but he didn't care. He was a bit rebellious growing up. The cat was always kind to him, helping him one day when he'd broke his leg falling from a tall tree. He's not very athletic anyways.
Ever since the cat helped him that day and treated him kindly, he fell in love with the cat. A childish love, but love anyways.
