Aoife Hello! What a great guild, looking forward to chatting with y'all here whenever I get here...which may be very hit or miss, I am pretty busy with real life. 1. I have a cute cocker spaniel doggie named Maizy and a pretty old small cat named Plato, but we just call her kitty usually. I am much more a cat person, hubby is the dog person, but I like the dog I have. 2. My favorite Bible verse is kinda my life verse. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths." Proverbs 3:5.6 3. My favorite books of the Bible are Psalms, Proverbs and James. They are encouraging, common-sense, and really show you HOW to live as a Christian. 4. I am non-denom Pentecostal 5. I live in the USA 6. I am at least 10 years older that the oldest one I saw listed here smile and many many more years older than the average here I suppose. I have 3 children, 17, 15 and 12 (girl, boy, girl) and have been married 20 years this past May. 7. I am a family day-care provider and the Women's Ministry leader in my church. My two oldest children are gearing up to go on a mission trip to Jamaica with their youth group this august, so I have been busy raising money with them to go. I have been making and selling cake-pops like mad, it's practically turned into another business for me. I really need another few hundred dollars ASAP to get their pass-ports THIS WEEK, so if y'all could pray for that to come in for me, I'd appreciate it! smile bless you all!
Hello and welcome! Thank you very much for joining. smile I'll pray for your kids pass-ports. So awesome that you are here! With being a Woman's Ministry leader I bet you have tons of interesting and instructive things to tell us.
Psalm 92:12-14 “The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree, He shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Those who are planted in the house of the LORD Shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bear fruit in old age; They shall be fresh and flourishing. ” (NKJV)
Both being older, and being younger has its charm. smile God bless you!

Aoife Garland-Green Both being older, and being younger has its charm. smile God bless you! I have to tell you, I don't feel "old" at all lol. I am usually mistaken for younger 30's if someone guesses, but regardless, I don't feel "old" in the least. xd Hehe. biggrin I know what you mean. I still feel like I am 20. I guess how old you feel is more important than your actual age.

1. Name your pets 2. List your favorite Bible verse 3. List your favorite book of the Bible 4. Your denomination/beliefs 5. The name of your country 6. Your favorite color 7. Your occupation
Hello, as my username states, I am Kibbity_Kabbit2. I would rather not introduce myself using my real name. Privacy issues & all regarding the internet. Anyway, I guess I'll start answering the questions above.
1. I love cats & I have two. Luna Belle & Sarafina. Sarafina is actually Luna Belle's kitten. She had four & two of them live with my grandparents. My cousins gave them interesting names. Kitty Minaj & Meatball. Meatball was the only boy. We had another kitten apart from Sarafina, but she ran away while going to see the vet. 2. 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 New International Version (NIV) 4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 3. I really love Genesis. The Beginning of everything seems so peaceful. It makes me wonder if Heaven will feel the same way. 4. I am a believer of God-although I am not apart of any church. At least physically that is. It seems today that many churches are twisting the word of God to fit their own personal needs & to manipulate others. I'd rather not surround myself with such people. 5. United States of America 6. I like a lot of colors-orange, yellow, red. Although, I think purple would be my fave. 7. I recently got fired from a cashiering job at a local grocery store. So now, I'll be looking for something else that suits me.

my age group I teach is 4-7 years and my favorite topic is the fruit of the spirit, if I can get the kids to learn about the fruit of the spirit at this young of an age then growing up life will be so much easier for them, they won't have as many struggles as an adult christian, the kids really just love sunday school and they love the arts and craft and activities we have for them each week, our class is growing so large

I remember going to Sunday school as a kid. It was something I really looked forward to. Three stories that made an impression on me was Noah's Ark, Daniel in the Lions den, and the story of Jonah. Not sure if that is because my teacher decided to focus on those stories in particular. It is awesome that you have decided to explain the fruits of the Spirit to the kids!

1. I have two cats, Josie and Sophie. Josie is my cat. She is indoor-outdoor and she always sleeps in my bed. Sophie is mean, fat, and waddles away from humans period. She cracks me up. 2. Joshua 1:9 "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” 3. Psalms and Song of Salomon/Song of Songs. What better way to write than in a love song? 4. I am Lutheran-Missuri Synod (LSMC - Lutheran), meaning, I am very strict and reserved Lutheran As my extended family is heavily Catholic on one side and Old Order Mennonite on the other, I tend to align myself on a very conservative scale, though, as far as Lutherans go, I find myself to be very liberal. (just as far as my church goes--not politically). 5. I am an American girl all the way! Strong military roots and I attempted myself (got really sick in basic) 6. I have so many! I love sunny and tropical colors! Coral, shell pink, aqua, teal, yellow, neutral colors (browns, creams, whites) 7. I am a full time student studying Psychology. My goal is to get through Social-Work grad school and then intern as an officer for the military (undecided on which branch), working as a PTSD and family/couples counselor. I believe that so many of the issues we see before and after deployment are because of lack of attention to transitioning the family with the soldier on both accounts. As for job: currently searching with a few things looking promising. We'll see how it goes!

Yet people read so much more into the text then what is there.
