❖ Personality// Kimei is a rather timid, yet mature girl, very frank towards people she has opened up to. But either way, you won't be seeing her starting conversations often. In fact, if strangers try as far as getting a "proper" conversation with her, she's the type who can get quite flustered, mostly ending up being very incomprehensible with her sentences. Most say that it was due to her rather sheltered life, since she is, after all, a rather sickly, fragile child. However, if one asked Kimei herself; she would tell you that it's because she is not used to people asking for her opinions - since everyone tends to jump to conclusions with her and whatever she says; tends to fall on deaf ears. So she grew to save her breath and is virtually, a mute. Rather mellow, there isn't much that irks her temper, making people think she's a pacifist. Little squabbles don't linger long in her mind, and obviously she may take longer to let go the bigger arguments. Most of the time, she'll take large insults (and sometimes naively the jokes) about her seriously, and every now and then would be found wondering about it as a "flaw" in her.
Once you dig deeper, one can find that Kimei is generally quite sweet and calm, wishing to be on everyone's friends list and tries to avoid petty conflicts whenever possible. You can't say that she's very sensitive to others, but when prompted, she does her best and generally tries to look on the bright side of things. One would think that she, being her shy, quiet self, is capable of hiding her emotions well. That's not the case though, but she has shown some self restraint when it comes to her own emotions. In front of large amounts of people she can be vary good about hiding her current emotions. However, if she's only in front of one or two people that she knows well (for example; her older brother), she tends to let her bottled up feeling overflow, and they might as well say that she wears all her emotions on her sleeves.
A huge issue with her is indecisiveness, most of the time, she doesn't know what she wants and takes a long while in deciding. In this state (which is rather often) she's a bit of a worrywart, trying to figure out what choice would be the best for everyone and then herself. Although she does take a considerable amount of time to decide on a choice, when she does make it completely finalized, she can be very stubborn about keeping it. Another thing that you should probably note is that she gets scared quite easily...

❖ Biography // When Kimei was born, doctors soon discovered shortly after that she wasn't a very healthy child. In fact; calling her not-so-very-healthy is an understatement. Kimei was diagnosed with anemia and grew to be quite troubling for the family as she grew up. ( common symptoms that Kimei encounters due to this illness are; chest pain, shortness of breath, dizziness or light-headedness, problems concentrating, and fatigue which occasionally leads to her getting sick with fever ) Thankfully, she herself was no troublemaker but as she grew up she was constantly going in and out of bed. Kimei always felt rather upset with herself, especially when it came down to her brother - she couldn't say much for him, but she is somewhat convinced that her older brother felt neglected at times due to the attention that showered on her.
There was one certain incident that nearly shocked the whole family. When Kimei was eight years old, she was playing in the living room alone. The mailman came along to knock at the front door to deliver a package. Since no one else was around to hear it, Kimei felt the obligation to answer the door herself. But when she stood up, she stood up too quickly, and immediately became dizzy, promptly fainting on the spot. You might have thought it wasn't really a big family-shocking deal; but it was since Kimei; in her unconsciousness, had fell into.... the fireplace. What happened after that, Kimei was never completely informed of and it passed by as a complete blur to her. But suffice to say, not only did she have a collection of burn scars on her back, she was never left alone if the family members could help it.
