So a friend gave me DDR Universe with the dance pad for kreestmaz.

I'm now learning how to use the dance pad and not fall over like a looserface.



It is sex.



Can't stop playing. OMG.


Wish it had Butterfly on it though, always loved that one.

Training mode lets you keep going without it failing you and cutting you off the rest of the song, it also is super slow and lets your brain form the necessary neural pathways to let you react faster to left arrow means left foot far left, and such. It gets more fun the better you get at it, and the more you play, the better you get. smile

One thing I didn't know, it actually works your ab muscles too! I found that out by playing DDR a bunch then going later on to do some stomach crunches and finding my ab muscles were already sore. Soooo excellent cardio plus core workout. YAY!

To be honest, as much as I love it, I also covet the Kinect with Just Dance. WANT!

We'll be needing a new XBox in the next while as this one is starting to die (4 years old and I think think think it's a 2nd gen?) and I'm insisting we get the XBox + Kinect combo, as it's about $100 cheaper than buying them separately, and while hubby doesn't care if we get Kinect or not, I totally do. It's INFA-freaking-RED gameplay. heart
