The salamander also needed to be moved because we were working there. I picked it up and it croaked like a cat fish. It was so cute.
Unfortunately it started getting kind of sticky...So I had my lady snap a few pics and put it near some really damp leaves, like the area it was in before hand, and it crawled away.
It took me forever to wash my hands and I still didn't get all of it off. You can see the sticky residue on my hands, also.
Also, this is a black speckled salamander isn't it?
