What did you think of the book Gregor the Overlander?
  It was totally awesome!
Good, but not as good as The Hunger Games.
  Eh, it was alright.
  Not my kind of book.
Almost as bad as Twilight, if you hate Twilight, that is.

Has anyone read Suzanne's other series- Gregor the Overlander?
I was going to see how many active RPers out there would be interested in a guild based on these books.

I've read the first one- I thought HG was better.
It had a great story-line, but it seemed a little... I don't know... Rushed?
Comparing the two, it was obvious -at least to me- that Miss Collins had a lot more experience when she was writing HG.
Also, the classic plot of the main character begin the only one who can save the world and going on an epic quest to do so is a bit overused.
I don't know, maybe I'm just making stuff up. And I did read Gregor a really long time ago. The mindless gibberish that spilled onto the page up there is about all I remember.

Thanks! PM me if you know anyone else who would be interested! So far, you're the only one who has replied, in all of my most active guilds! sad We need more than 2 members.

You should totally read the rest!
It is true that she had more experience with HG because GTO was her first young adult book she wrote. It was rushed because she wanted to give the impression that the action and overall quest was very fast paced. I loved the plot, although I agree with you that the 'the classic plot of the main character begin the only one who can save the world and going on an epic quest to do so' is quite overused. Her Underland world is awesome and the more you delve into the series, the more advanced the world and its species gets.
Please you'll tell me you'll join if I make the guild and send you an invite request???

If I ever started reading them again, I would defiantly need to re-read the first one. Besides the basic plot, I'm kinda drawing a blank.
If you wouldn't mind filling me in on important details as we go along, I be up for joining.

I just finished the first book and I really enjoyed it! However, I did like The Hunger Games better.
