I know not all of us have long-distance relationships to handle, but having one that is polyamorous can be a bit of a trial... especially considering one partner is 7+ hours away and the other is in an entirely different country altogether.
I'm quite happy with where we all stand and am glad to have an opportunity to share my life with two of the most wonderful women I have had the pleasure to know, but alas, I still have to share this love from a distance. We all manage, but there's always that nagging sensation of wanting to be closer (to my partner whom I've yet to meet in-person) or missing one another (to the partner I have had the pleasure of spending a holiday with).
Have any of you had long-distance relationships? Did they work for you? How did/do you manage things? Are you emotionally fulfilled?
I understand these questions are potentially personal in nature, but I'm simply... well, curious. Curious and eager to try getting involved in Gaia and its various communities, especially those relevant to interests I constantly live in but rarely discuss.
Cheers.
