For many years a feud has gone on between warriors and mages. No one knows who started it or when it started but everyone knows that they dislike each other.
So far, no attempts have been made to mend the cracks between the two. Already three vicous and bloody battles have taken place. The surrounding people have begun to fear for their own lives and many people have considered choosing sides. But it's only in an attempt to help one of the sides win, hopefully ending the feud. But no one knows why they're fighting each other and no one knows how to support them.
So they continue to fight.
It's been almost ten years since the last battle. The warriors and mages are still at it though and a new battle is rising. Each side has a leader, both of them cunning and determined to win; ageless and ancient, both strong and fierce. Neither of them seem to have any weaknesses. But that's where they're wrong.
The warrior leader, a man named Rocarus, has a very valuable treasure. What everyone doesn't know is that it isn't gold or jewels or something hidden far away. In truth, it's his daughter. She's just as strong and fierce as her father, but instead of hiding from everyone she fights for him as his personal assassin. But no one can know that they are father and daughter. In order to fool everyone, Rocarus hid away a special key. It is another treasure, but he has no idea what it really unlocks.
The leader of the mages, a man named Cox, has something similar. Like Rocarus, he has offspring that he treasures as well. But his is a son. They do not live in fear and everyone is aware that they are related. But after hearing that Rocarus had a special treasure, a key, he sent his son after it. The warrior daughter and the mage son meet as she tries infiltrating their capital city and neither of them is aware of who they are. But something draws them near.
But there's something that Cox knows that everyone doesn't.
Cox is well aware that Rocarus has a daughter. And that she is actually the holder of the key. Now he sends his son out to find her again.
They hope to use her against Rocarus and win the feud.
There's going to be many things unlocked during this journey. Perhaps the son with gain sympathy and both of them will want to end the long feud between the two kinds. Only you can tell.
