Renkon Root Karushi El Pinko I think the distinction is silly considering that innovation doesn't exist without imagination. If you're gonna say that then you might as well also say that science, art, literature, exploration, etc. without imagination. While its true innovation wouldn't occur without imagination, I'd still say this discussion has merit. Its basically debating the difference between thoughts and actions.
Imagination = Thought Innovation = Actions
As I said in my previous post, imagination is important but it doesn't amount to anything if you don't act on or make anything of your imaginings. well, that distinction was never made by the original poster. But I can also just as easily say that your answer, which is wise and has merit, ultimately avoids the idea of the question which is to choose one or the other.
and if it is between thought and action I choose action, thought affects only one persons world, action influences everyone's world. I can always escape to my own world, but to influence the real world around you is to survive and thrive. Your dreams alone do not feed, cloth, and shelter you.

But that would make the question paradoxical because you cannot have one without the other. (Of course, maybe that was the OP's intent. We'll just have to wait until he gets back to find out.)

Which is exactly why I said it was a silly!
