BURN'S SECRET SANTA 2011
One of the biggest and most awesome things that ever happened to Burn is back once again!
How it happens:
1. If you’d like to be a part of Burn’s December 2011 Secret Santa gift exchange, simply reply to this thread after you’ve read the rest of it. In your reply, just say something like “I’ve read the whole first post & would like to participate”. I’ll then add your username to a list. Please reply no later than December 13th.
2. Between approx. December 13th – December 18th, you’ll receive a PM from the BurnGuildMule2 giving you the username of the person who’ve been randomly selected to buy a gift for.
3. After you receive said PM, before December 22nd at the absolute latest, you must buy a gift that you think the person you’ve been assigned would like. Gifts must be worth a minimum of 10k (10,000g) either in store price or marketplace value, & a maximum of 50k (50,000g). You can buy up to three separate gifts for your user, as long as their total worth falls within the 10k-50k gift price range.
4. Do NOT send your Secret Santa gift(s) to your assigned person. Send them in a trade to the username BurnGuildMule2. In the subject heading, write “Secret Santa” & the username of the person you’ve been assigned. This is so I can make sure that everybody gets & receives gifts, & that the gifts fall within the price range. Gaians are generally untrustworthy when it comes to gold, so this is a way of “enforcing” trust. Again, these trades must be sent before December 22nd
5. I’ll keep track of what gifts are for each user, & on Christmas you’ll receive wrapped gift(s) from the BurnGuildMule2. The “note” attached to the gifts will say who your Secret Santa was.
6. Since we will have to PM you at least once, you will need to change your PM settings to be open to public. If we can't PM you, you won't be able to participate in the event.
7. Please, please, please don't change your user name at all during the event. It's a hassle and it takes a lot of time to figure out what the new user name is. If you really need to change it, please send me a PM stating that you have.
8. Art is NOT a form of a gift that is excepted for this event. Not everyone likes or want art, so please don't try to buy or send art as a gift.
