Siimple Servant In other words, Christians who watch pornography. Discuss.. Sorry, don't really know what to say, but I would love if you guys gave your guys' two cents on this topic. But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart ~Matthew 5:29 We all have our weaknesses, and when it comes down to it, it's giving into them where the sin occurs. Pornography is a form of adultery on the actors and any future spouses. However, all sin is equal to God, if one person has an Addiction to pornography is't no worse than someone who's idol is success. My point is here it's often a topic people don't want to talk about or are ashamed of, but a sin is a sin and we all sin. It's something that as a child of God that have to work through and let the Lord work through it with you. (1 Corinthians 10:13) It's a promise that God provides. It may not be easy, but it is not impossible. (Luke 18:27). Even if we have been saved we still sin and experience the temptations of the flesh and will continue to do so until we get our new bodies. (1 Corinthians 15:35- 49) |

kesuke uchiha zhiliolia as long as the porn is made of consenting adults, i don't see a problem with it. it's not hurting anyone. God has set aside one person to be your soul mate....same thing for everyone ....would you really be so lax if the person that you would eventually marry and love for your entire life had taken part in such a thing? porn does not just appear...its made....and basically when we watch...its like us getting off on seeing others violate the future trust of that persons soul mate....every time they make these things they are refusing Gods blessings and stealing from whomever that those people in the films or pictures are and whom they will someday meet fall in love with and marry.... and sex is very powerful....do you really think one can live a normal life loving his wife and only his wife when he had a previous job of having sex with many many many women?
there is no such thing as soul mates. you marry people from your area whom you get along well with. for all you know there's someone on the other side of the world who would be better suited for you, but you're not going to go to that much trouble to find a mate.
just look at the divorce rate. |

Bottomline here: Pornography is wrong, sinful, and is an action from temptation and lust in the heart.
Most people have this struggle, and I have even dealt with this struggle in my lifetime. I have so far been able to overcome it for a few months now. It takes a lot of Bible reading, understanding, and self-control. Sometimes, if it helps, keep necessary Bible verses on hand or put them on sticky notes and attach them to the computer, tv, or wherever else it is viewed so that as a Christian, you remember to resist porn and not follow the evil temptations (this usually works for me and me telling myself, "This is fake, how dumb." or, "People are putting their virginity and morality on the line to do this so why give in?"). 3nodding

Soul mates truly do exist and are connected to us in an interesting way because God puts couples together for a reason if you allow him to open your eyes and show that to you. I met my soul mate in the funniest way. We both went to a Bible study and someone from that group was having a birthday party and my friends wanted me to go, but I didn't want to and I met a guy there that didn't want to go either, but his friend convinced him to go with him. We knew it was truly meant to be and got married the same year we met. We both know that God put us together for a reason and we want to fulfill the plans that he has in store for us.
However, it's also possible that God doesn't intend for everyone on this planet to get married because of a certain calling he gives to them or for another reason. God works in truly mysterious ways smile he amazes me every day. |
