So Piper spent his first full day out alone. Total success, and Annabelle had places to go away from the little bugger. Yesterday we tried to block him into the laundry room, but he found a way out that he couldnt get back in. My brother came home to Annabelle leaping over the barrier and dropping a huge mouthful of food for Piper in the middle of the kitchen. Piper also responds to his name! If you call out his name he'll come running over towards you. He's currently nestled up to my neck, sleeping. Seriously. Too adorable.

He's getting SO BIG! He's almost as fast as Annabelle when she sprints, he is really a little bugger sometimes. This morning he was chasing her, and Annabelle jumped onto the chair in the corner of our living room near the couch. Piper runs after her, and without missing a beat, vaults onto the couch, over to the armrest, and right onto Annabelle. At the moment's he's curled up in a little pile of catnip he managed to find. He's bit my mom twice hard enough to make him bleed, he bit each side of her lip making it look like she had monroes pulled out. We're working on the biting thing.
It's so easy to figure out what he wants. If he wants to be held he'll look right up at you and start to meow till you pick him up and cuddle him. It's actually really adorable, and he's already started to change his sleep schedule to match ours. He takes naps during the day and will sleep the whole night (except for when he needs to burn a little energy, in which case he chases his tail and tries to catch his feet). He sleeps with my mom, and Annabelle happily spends the time in silence. And yes, she does have places that he can't go- the table, a cedar chest, and a chair that's only hers. Yes, we own a chair that we keep in the corner of the kitchen for the cat, she adores it.
