Silently, a figure in a green cloak, the lower edges tattered slightly, walked into the Dark Depths. With the tip of his forefinger, he lightly rubbed the crossed scar on the bridge of his nose as he looked out across the landscape, memories flooding his mind.

 Rose Kross leapt down from on top of a high ledge. She got onto a hand and knee and slowely got up facing the man and smiled to him.
"Hey! Vent! I havent seen you in a long time!"

Vent turned back to Rose, grinning broadly, and opened his arms. "Rose! How've you been?" he asked excitedly, the cloak opening with the movement, revealing the black vest and pants he wore.

Rose laughed and hugged him tightly then let go when he did
"oh nothing much, trying to keep my nephew out of trouble, hes been kicked out of many schools....he time travels and i get stuck with it....try being chased by the original organaztion 13 when Headmistress Keeper was a kid" she laughed

Vent smiled as far as his face would let him, his cloak curling back around his body. "You've got a nephew now? Wow, I really am out of the loop. Rose...it really is good to see you again. And sorry I've been gone so long." he apologized.

Rose smiled
"well actualy, ive been a aunt since my second year at the academy, when I wasn't afraid of my sister anymore....shes still trouble but not as much as she used to." she laughs
"Its ok, your back now and thats all that counts, right?" she smiled
"I mean, are you only passing thru? I get bored often now....training....learning how to use a keyblade....least I dont accidently freeze anyone anymore."

Vent started to rub the scar on the bridge of his nose with his fingertip as he listened before shrugging. "Honestly, I've nothing else to do, I've verified what I wanted, so I've got no where else to go. If you want, I'll stick around." he said, looking around.

Rose took a deep sigh
"did you find what you were looking for. What was it, if I may ask?"
she looked down when he said that only if she wanted him to stick around, he would.
"Well....I wouldnt want you to be bored of me. I mean, its been...well....years since we last saw one another.....im usually alone myself....ive been thru a lot in a short amount of time....I was married once...but for less than a year.....his brother killed him.....im just watching my nephew hoping he wont dissapear..."
a tear fell out of her eyes, she looked sad.

Vent watched her for a moment before letting out a small sigh. "Rose, you're my closest friend. I wouldn't get bored of you. And I'm really sorry. For everything. You've made me want to stay even more. I'll be here for you when you need me, ok?"

Rose quickly turned around facing him and hugged him really tight
"and you are my only friend that isnt family as well. I miss those old times when we would just hang out, have fun, sometimes fight side by side when we needed to"

Vent blinked slightly for a moment, before hugging Rose tightly back. "It seems like it was so long ago. You, Me, and Joker. I miss those times to, I truly do, and I regret ever leaving this place."

She laughed at mention of Joker's name.
"yeah, I left here after you did...but soon followed the rest of the family....and the headmistress....I go away and still people watch me to make sure I don't expload a planet or something. Back then, I could even without meaning to, now...I still could, but it would have to be for a good reason.....too much drama where I had left to. There were days I just wanted to kick back and relax.....then people would expect me to teach.....once I got back...expected to watch over someone....there are just days...well...."
she slowely let go and created a small windstorm and had a few ice balls appear into her hand and she let them float away in the air as if they were weightless.
"Just to let go..."
She smiled back to Vent
"so, where did you go for such a long absence?"

Vent listened to her as she spoke, absorbing what she said as he felt himself lifted off the ground. Surprisingly he wasn't very disturbed by the weightlessness. "I went to go find my sister, Hailey...It, didn't go like I wanted. I found her, but, well, I was to late. That's why I ended up getting her keyblade back then."

"Im sorry." Rose said in a sad tone.
"You found her dead, I suppose? Or was it worse than death."
By the tone of her voice, it was if she had seen many die since she left the academy.
