Here's a thread for people who might be affected by this incoming monster! That way, if someone goes off the grid for a few days, people know why. I even provided some maps!

I added one more map from my state's .gov site. ... wait... wait a minute... Is... is Irene giving my state a THUMBS UP? eek Actually, at a second look, it might be more that she's PUNCHING straight through! gonk

I'm in Maryland, near DC. I don't know how hard we're gonna get hit, but if i go off the grid it probably caught our power.
I do get an extra day with my girlfriend, who's in town from Vegas. she was gonna leave sunday, but not with this thing coming. she's actually trying to change flights right now, but the website's so bogged down it's not going.

I live in SC, so we're catching the edge of it as well. But i'm more pissed because it's caused my visiting family's flight to be cancelled, so they're with us for another few days >.<
....when they've been here a week.
