I'm glad someone decided to make use of this sub-forum. blaugh
More into movies than series, but as far as the latter goes, I've always been a fan of Dragonball through DB GT, yes I'm pretty old school, so I've been known to be down with Sailor Moon also. Gundam Wing was alright, but I didn't get too into following the entire show. If you don't like Voltron, go kick rocks. Ummmm... I managed to catch a few episodes of Inuyasha (I believe that's what it's called, right?) and Gunslinger Girl. Ghost in the Shell (movies and episodes) are all awesome...
As far as movies go, I'm definately old school. Akira, Ninja Scroll, Ghost in the Shell, Vampire Hunter D... There's a lot more but yeah.
I never really care what it's about, as long as it's drawn well, and the plot is worth paying attention to. razz

Like, I'm not picky when it comes to the STYLE of art, but crappy art usually means crappy animation, and crappy animation usually leads to a half-assed plot, and well, those things lead to a bad show/movie altogether. I want to watch something I'm going to ENJOY watching. For the story, as well as the visual. razz heart

They're like... (it's hard to describe..) young girls that are trained since they were wayyy young, to be bodyguards for these grown men. Kinda like Ghost in the Shell meets Pokemon meets Blood the Last Vampire meets Cops. xD It's... different, but it kept me addicted till the last episode. Idk if they released any newer seasons after what I saw, but what I did see, I saw all of. smile These girls are toting some heavy automatic artillery, and they're supposed to be like 14/15 years old.

you cant tell me only two people in this guild bothered to chat in ithe anime section.
ive been watching anime for quite a while now and ive seen a lot ^^ i have so many favorites thers no way i can list them all. (so ill just list a few xp)
im going to say one of my fav shounen giant anime will have to be one piece, hands down. it has like everything i ever wanted in a shonen anime. all the arcs and characters are so interesting and it really is a GRAND adventure watching the series xp plus unlike bleach/naruto, one piece isnt plagued by constant fillers or side stories lol
fav vampire anime: hellsing ultimate. need i even explain? its the perfect old school vampire anime. no bishounen, damsel in distress, "i-want-to-suck-your-blood-but-i-cant-becuse-i-dont-want-to-hurt-you" nonsense. xp just straight up vampires being the kickbutt vampires they were meant to be
fav comedy anime: this is a tuffy becuase there are so many great comedy anime but ima have to give it to gintama on this one. gintama is the type of anime that you can watch from anywhere within the series and basically get the gist of it. its just pure lazy comedy xp. however besides that it does have some pretty neat arcs every 40-50 episodes or so ^^
