Fact: If World War III comes about, the United States will be nuked first.
As much as I enjoy being American, we're very much hated by ... pretty much everyone. I'm almost positive it'll be Canada who does us in.

Well I could be wrong but I think statistics show that Canada is the most multicultural country! Toronto has a huuuuge cultural background. Almost every part of Toronto has a little bit of each culture. Little Italy, little Portugal, Chinatown etc. it's a pretty diverse city!

here's a few.... The average life expectancy at birth for a Canadian is 81.16 years, the eighth highest in the world. The United States ranks 46th, at 78.14 years. hahaha Snorri, the first North American child to be born of European parents (Thorfin and Gudrid), was born in Vinland around A.D. 1000. Alert, in Nunavut territory, is the northernmost permanent settlement in the world. Ice hockey is Canada's official national game. The modern game of ice hockey was developed in Canada, based on games that have been played since the tenth century. The rules were first published in the Montreal Gazette in 1877. Canada is a major producer and consumer of cheese. In 1997, Canadians produced 350,000 tons of at least 32 varieties of cheese and ate an average of 23.4 pounds per person, with cheddar being the most popular. A black bear cub from Canada named Winnipeg (or “Winnie,” for short) was one of the most popular attractions at the London Zoo after it was donated to the zoo in 1915. Winnie became a favorite of Christopher Robin Milne and inspired the stories written by his father, A.A. Milne, about Winnie-the-Pooh. The Moosehead Brewery in Saint John, New Brunswick, turns out 1,642 bottles of beer per minute. Manitou Lake on Manitoulin Island in Lake Huron is the world's largest lake within a lake (41.1 square miles). came from here

More Fun Facts from Puerto Rico -w- [lol i asked my friends and family for more fun facts =3]
The words and items such as hurricane; huracan, hammock; hamaca, BBQ; barbacoa came from the Tainos.
The oldest church still in use in the Americas is found in San Juan which was built in 1522, La Iglesia de San Jose.
In 1596 the British take over San Juan and brings Puerto Rico under British rule for 65 days.
The coqui is a tiny frog found everywhere on the island and is an "unofficial national symbol". There was a legend that stated that this tiny frog would not sing if it left the island.
Island Bird: Stripe-headed tanager ("reina mora")
Island Flower: Puerto Rican hibiscus ("flor de maga")
Island Tree: Silk-cotton tree ("ceiba")
The famous Puerto Rican Pirate, Cofresi was named Roberto Cofresi de Arellano.
Plaza Las Americas Mall in San Juan is the most profitable mall per square foot in the world
The highest grossing Borders book store in US territory is located in Plaza Las Americas[sadly 2nd floor closed but 1rst floor is still open, but 2nd floor was my hangout place in the mall T,T]
Edit for more biggrin :
The largest JC Penney store in the world (a full 4 stories) is located at Plaza Las Americas mall.
There are about 1,100 people per square mile, a ratio higher than within any of the 50 states in the United States. Puerto Rico's population density per square miles is among the world's highest
Puerto Rico has more McDonalds, Burger Kings, Wendy's, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Church's Fried Chicken and chinese buffet restaurants per square mile than any other country in the world, except China
In 1990 Puerto Rico ranked 6th in the world when it came to college graduates, but if the trend of high school drop outs continue, we'll drop to 32nd in the world, while countries like The Dominican Republic and Panama will surpass us
Since Puerto Rico is the commonwealth of the US, US citizens can travel to Puerto Rico and back without passports.
We NEVER call ouselves american idk why, we call ourselves "Puertorriqueños" or "Boricuas" , if someone calls themselves american everyone will consider that they come from us, and not from the island....true sotry -w-
Both Spanish and English are the official languages of the island, however, Spanish is predominant. Us Puerto Ricans have our own version of Spanish wich is pretty weird and nowdays we call it Spanglish xD
Almost 90% of the population converses in Spanish all the time, unless they have no option but to speak in English. This is because the locals are shy of conversing in English, even if they know it. but honestly i like talking english with my friends and im pretty much the only one in family who speaks it.
Puerto Ricans love partying, thus, festivities are carried on frequently around the islands. Their festivals are categorized into three types: national holidays, harvest festivals and patron saint festivals. Since Puerto Rico was discovered on November 19th , Puerto Ricans observe this day as a national holiday. July 4th is also an official holiday, however, it's a comparatively low key event. Besides these national holidays, Puerto Rico also observes another 22 official holidays. What's interesting about Puerto Rican holidays are that quite a few national holidays are held on Mondays, so that the locals get a longer weekend! There are about 25 patron saint festivals, each town celebrating at least one in a grand scale. Mainly based on Catholic saints, these festivals include dance, music, plays, banquets, delectable delicacies and religious processions, which go on for ten days. And we pretty much celebrate anything, birthdays, when someone comes back from a trip, the babys first tooth sometimes pretty much anything we can consider an excuse to go dining, to a hotel or to not go ro school or work.
We puerto ricans dont normaly celebrate the sweet sixteen unless we have american heritage un our family, we celebrate the "quinceañero"
San Juan is the capital of Puerto Rico
Puerto Rico has won the 'Miss Universe Title' 5 times
Cockfighthing is legal in Puerto Rico
