What kind of contest is this?
This is a contest for those of you who like to tektek creative avis for fun.
What is tektek?
For anyone unfamiliar with tekteking, you can visit tektek.org and click ‘Gaia Dream Avatar’ to get started creating your own avi! It’s a nifty device that lets you put together an avi with almost every item Gaia has to offer so that you know how well things will look together, and it even gives you a reasonable estimate on the final pricing of your avi.
Some people like to use this tool to create wonderful pieces of art, so we thought we should start a monthly contest for fun!
This month the contest will focus on cosplay avatars!
I know Gaia does not carry all the nifty items that would make our avis look exactly like the anime/gaming/miscellaneous character we want them to, but try to be creative and have fun with it! We won’t be basing our winners on accuracy as much as creativity!
How do I submit an entry for this contest?
We’ve put together a simple application form for anyone who’s interested! You may submit as many avis as you like so long as they were created by you.

This is our first contests so I’ll post some random questions and answers, but please feel free to ask questions! I’ll post the questions you ask along with the answers here for future reference.
Q:
Do we have to have the gold it would take to make the tektek avi we submit?
A:
NOPE! We aim to give you plenty of creative freedom, and no one here should ask how much gold you actually have on your account, so that will play no factor. GO CRAZY!
