I know summer events are supposed to be a bit... Low impact and we certainly always need more gold-sinks, the economy on Gaia being what it is, but that said, it still struck me as a little uninspired.
That being the case, I do like the idea of using so many different NPCs. I supported Meredith, Dr. Singh and Moira. Diedrich took a lead (the annoying fat s**t) and it looks pretty clear already that he'll win... But I never liked him. I also gave a few pies to Stein and Jinx. I wish Gaia let you more easily keep track of five NPCs that you were supporting, instead of just three.

As for popularity, I'm not so sure that's the main reason. I mean if that were the case, I'd have to think a bunch of the more important characters would be there... Like Edmund, Gino, and Sen... Mmm... I could really go in for feeding Sen some pie.
Really, where are they? It's silly to think they'd be on the airship sorting out the business with Gino, because in real time that takes under a week, from beginning to end. They've just released the comic at a rate of five pages a week, so it's taking an incomparably long time in real time. Hm...
She is cute. That's probably the biggest reason that I go for Meredith. I'm a big fan of mousey and girls with glasses. How surprised she is that anyone would actually give her a pie is pretty adorable, too.

I've been feeding Moira mostly because I like her but also gave some to Dr. Singh and Meredith, well because I was told to. I think the event is kind of boring and will be glad when I'm done but then I haven't looked around the forum yet. I've only been in your thread so far. Also, I vote we make rabbit pie. >_>
