As well all know, the Spartans were an amazing group of soldiers back in the day who, through superior skill and training, were capable of inflicting much higher causality ratio than themselves against the enemy, and who repeatedly took advantages of force multipliers.
My question is, if you were going to design a program to train Spartan-esque, or just a really good soldier training regimen, for any time period, from any age to any age (although 0-21 is nice) what exactly what you do, and how would you plan on going about achieving it?
It would be awesome to know. 3nodding

A standardized training regimen for something like this would be a disadvantage due to the simple fact that no two people absorb information the same. Some people can soak up information from manuals and never see a practical example of until they do for themselves the first time. Others don't have the patience to sit down and read a book and can only learn something by doing it. While others have to use a balance between the two. The best way would be to, and I hate to say this due to the Nazi programs, breed them and start them out as soon as they are able to learn and develop skills, meaning about the age of three and going until the soldier is able to perform perfectly. That may be six months for one, thirty years for someone else.

Well, "breeding them" for something isn't necessarily being a Nazi unless you use eugenics or you choose individuals with certain genetics.
But yeah, a program starting from the age of pre-birth all the way to 21 is fine. Like, the infant stage is one of the most important times of growth in a human. Find a way to improve on that, and, bam, you've just given people like super powers.
You could potentially take orphans at birth who otherwise would have no family and train them and stuff, that could work. 3nodding
Of course, they would be required to be of a young age and whatnot, and attrition rates would be weird, but those who fail could simply be put into regular military work, they might even rise up to go on to be special forces or something. 3nodding
