when aquarium fish die...(A)

(ok i'm not a newbie, but idk where else to ask this question)
but when your fish die, and they leave you stuff like "goldfish drop" and whatnot, what can you do with that stuff? i've just been selling it on the marketplace (and it seems like they sell for a lot of money! i've seen some for almost 23k!) but what's the point of having them? i know you can trade in fish (fishing fish, not aquarium fish) and make stuff out of garbage, but what does fish "drop" do?

You can open it and take the prize it gives you. OR you can sell the drop itself. That is about it smile

The fish drops can be opened from your inventory and will give you a prize- the prize is chosen randomly from a series of prizes available to each different fish. For example, the Goldfish will give you gold things- like a Gold Tiara, a Gold Wristwatch, or a rarer Goldfish Scarf.
