Hey guys! So guild activity has hit a low the last two months and we were wondering what we could do to bring it up. : 3 what would you guys like to see to help motivate activity in the guild and help bring in more members
One of the things we have been considering is a referral ( a competition for users to invite new users to the guild). A competition like that could help with activity and we would make the prize large enough to make it worth your time.
But the question is, how much gold do you guys think should be offered up to make searching and inviting members to the guild worth your time? And how much time do you think we should let the event run?
Let us know : 3 we want to know what you guys think about it!Also, if you guys happen to have any ideas of what else we could do to help bring up the activity around here : 3 please let us know! We always love hearing what you guys have to say! And were always trying to make this guild a better place for its members. Were looking for members who would be interested in becoming moderators. The job does imply some of your time, but there will be a monthly pay to help compensate for some of your time. that sounds cool! i could work on inviting people. idk what the prize should be, but i wouldn't mind trying to invite people more often just in general.
as far as other ideas go, i'll think on it and letcha know if i get any ideas.

I've been super busy/stressed with college, but I'll be around for a...while now. @__@
(I was suspended for a year from my absences. I had Pneumonia, bronchitis, and the flu at 3 different instances, and doctors notes/hospital visit paperwork did nothing to argue my case.)
SUPER AWESOME SPONSORED ART CONTESTS? or uh...a guild art shop in the main shop forums? idk.

Hrm.... I agree with Beatrix.... More contests would make things more interesting... although what kind of contests.... I have no idea XD;;;; What would people be interested in competing in and for what prize...?
Since the people that join are also art collectors perhaps a prize could be getting art from an artist?

@Prince: O_O crappy, sounds like you had a string of bad luck there, hope things get better for you.
Hmmm a guild art shops in the main shop forums, sounds cool : 3 how would it work exactly? everyone post there thread there, and get extra publicity in the main shop forum?
@Beautrix: great, thanks well see what we can do about that, any ideas on some contest that you think would be cool to have? : )
@gomeric: yea I was thinking about that as well, we would maybe need to try to make some contest that art collectors could compete in as well, since if your not an artist, the present monthly art contest wouldn't be something they could try for.

What about just setting up some threads that are relevant but easy to post in? Contests and picture sharing can be intimidating for some, especially when there are some very skilled artists in the guild.
You might be able to encourage more discussion and interaction by setting up 'game' threads (sketch the avatar above you, ask the person below you a question about themselves as an artist, that sort of thing), threads for sketches, or threads for casual critique and art help.
Or have there been things like this before?

we do already have a casual critique and art help thread but I don't believe we have a draw the person below you or ask questions to them as artist : ) but thoughs are some great ideas! You always have such wounder full ideas hellosara ^-^
