hahaha! it was pretty neat. sometimes the act of folding was frustrating if you didn't get it right, but i had someone with a booklet showing me. i liked the owls the most, i guess that's why i remember it. i made tons of 'em, they were all over my room at one point. : p

wow that sounds great... is it true you need to work with perfectly square pieces of paper? you can't use rectangle paper, like normal 8x11 paper?

The more difficult in shape use rectangular paper (I had a book called monster origami and you could have made snakes, dogs and a whole bunch of other stuff). Maybe that transformer/gundam you have in the first pic was made with rectangular paper?
