~*Watchtower Control is where each and every system is run through and monitored, it also affords important control of main systems and the Deep Space Detection System.
Monitors and control panels are structured around the entire room, each system, key or otherwise, has it's own group of technicians and consoles. There are maintenance crews ready at any moment to deal with any small bug or damage incurred by these systems.
There are also live newsfeeds streaming in from all over the globe, giving latest news and allowing the League Member on Duty to assess the situation, and either notify the nearest hero, or send in a squad.
One League member is always on Duty, they take shifts, so it does not become arduous...*~

~*Appearing in the room, The Kestrel seemed not to notice the reverent hush that settled over the Techs for a moment, as it always was.
The icon she had created for herself with 'Kestrel' was one that inspired fear, respect and loyalty...
She strode to the Control Panel and stroked the correct keys for a moment, a holographic projection of recent incursions into their system... Nothing potentially lethal, though she may have to get one of their Powered Members to break up the large asteroid that was on a collision course with either Earth or Mars, depending on whether it collided with the moon at any point...
Her mind created thousands of equations at once, tiny maps in her mind tracing out potential projected courses the asteroid could take...she turned to Nightingale...*~

~*Trailing in her Mentor's wake, she was used to being ignored...this time however, some Techs even stopped to stare at her with the same fear and reverance usually reserved only for The Kestrel.
It was an intoxicating feeling, no wonder her- no wonder Kestrel enjoyed this so much...
Something flashed on the screen, an asteroid incursion in their System? It was quite large, looked to be on a course with either Earth or Mars...it all depended on the trajectory at which it struck their Moon...
Which would be bad...if it was knocked out of Lunar Orbit, their planet would die...
It seems the same thoughts occured to her Mentor, as The Kestrel turned around to face her, the faintest hint of cunning smile ghosting over her lips...
"Call Nytefall, have her beam aboard from the Tower; her unique physiology should be able to sufficiently break the asteroid into smaller pieces, thereby saving the moon, Earth and/or Mars from a potentially deadly impact."
She nearly dropped her datapad in surprise, but regain composure easily, "Of course, Kestrel, I will retire to my Quarters to call her Privately."
Nightingale turned and left the Control Room...*~

~*Only a few moments had passed when Kestrel heard her ear-comm chirp, signalling an incoming transmission.
"Speak, Nighitingale," she commanded, touching the little bud to activate a two-way transmission; her partner's voice came through clearly, "Nytefall has agreed to assist us, I'm headed to the Transporter Room to meet her."
"Stay there and await my arrival, she needs to be briefed onthe mission, understand?" Kestrel said harshly, too harshly to her own ears, though she knew what the girl was capable of when around the other teen...and as the Watchtower was new, it did not require complete destruction just yet...
Se turned and strode from the rom, hearing a small sigh of accquiescence from the other end of the communicatin, and let a small smile slip through as Nightingale let loose a drawn out, "Fiiiiiiiiiiiine!"
And The Kestrel strode swiftly down the corridor...*~
