I believe the Bible does say that Man will not know when the Rapture is to come. So, along with that...Even if God decided to make it a date, and we guessed it correctly, I believe he would simply change his mind. We're supposed to be unsuspecting when the Rapture comes, so...I think it's an "expect the unexpected" sort of thing, and we need not prepare for it, instead just keep doing what we do by praising him, blessing our friends, asking for forgiveness, spreading the word, and not worry about whether we'll "be beamed up" smile
I noticed that alot of people where extremely worried about today, especially Christians since alot of others seem not to care. Dears, please don't be afraid of the Rapture...As Christians, we seem to worry and wonder as to if we'll go to our Heavenly family during the Rapture..Or not. I do it alot, wonder if my Faith is enough to save me, as well as the ones I love.
Well, I see people everywhere asking "How do we prepare for it?!"
Darling, you don't exactly prepare for it. In a sense, us Christians are already preparing by sending prayers to God, by loving our friends as well as strangers, by spreading the word and asking for forgiveness. Besides this, you can't exactly 'prepare' for Rapture. Instead, just keep doing what you do, and praise Him. If you do that; strengthen your faith and help others, why should you worry?
Like previously stated, just a little whim I wanted to share, don't know who this'll appeal to or anything...

Lol. That happens to me all the time with my friends. We're talking about the same things but with a different perspective until we reach that point we're we agree to agree...ha ha ha...oh I love those awkward moments XD
BTW doubts about salvation have been around ever since the dinosaur era, (figure of speech).
This is why in God's infinite knowledge he knew we would have these doubts so he left us with some words of reassurance.
"God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him, shall not perish but have everlasting life. " (John 3:16)
"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. " (I John 1:9)
If we do this God promises us that we will see him face to face one day.
“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith -- and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.” (Ephesians 2:8 )
This is God's gift to us.
I find these verses very reassuring. God [NEVER] breaks his promises, EVER. So any fear about God changing his mind about you, is out the window. Know that you believe in a just God. Sometimes not knowing God enough is what makes us doubt. Learning more about God's loves reassure us of how much we are worth in God's eyes.
and my favorite:
12 “What do you think? If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go to look for the one that wandered off? 13 And if he finds it, truly I tell you, he is happier about that one sheep than about the ninety-nine that did not wander off. 14 In the same way your Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should perish.
(Matthew 18:12-14)
god cherishes every one of you, and takes note of our efforts.
BUT
If you still have questions of your salvation; your faith. Try doing these:
♥ Ask the Lord to reveal unconfessed sin. Then follow through by repenting.
♥ Read your Bible daily. Study specific verses about salvation.
♥ Pray regularly. Talk to God and ask that He help you.
♥ Trust the Lord. Remember He loves you greatly.
♥ Rebuke doubt. (Sometimes Always, the enemy uses doubt to weaken us).
♥ Offer praise and thanksgiving to God. Do not let feelings rob you of your joy.

Doesn't this kind of reasoning mean that if we just predicted that every day would be the end of the world, it would never happen?
