From when you first joined Gaia, to now? Some things to share would be:
-Where you hung out
-How you dressed
-How you earned gold
-What you spent money on
-etc
For me.. I'd hang out in the CB 'spank' threads. I joined back when cybering was commonly seen in such topics(I'm not even joking.. people would full blown cyber there lol), but I'd just go there and bump.
this was my exact avatar for.. at least a year, until I left, came back and just until about a year/2 years ago.
I'd earn gold via quizzes/bumping/towns, and I only had.. 5-15k at any given time. Whenever I had enough gold, I'd buy a MC before it was open(which is how I got my demonic anklets, 16k baby!!)
Now.. I don't even try to get gold, I go in guilds only, and I layer my avatar. blaugh

I...don't know, I haven't changed much. D;
I earned gold by...posting? Didn't care about gold, never had more than 6k at any given time.
I dressed noobishesque, with the long ponytail hair. xD
I spent monies on whatevver I liked atm, impulse shopping lol.
I hung out in Guilds.

I joined Gaia because I loved the avatars but a lot has changed since 2007. I used to hang out in CB and bump a lot, or spend time in towns, shaking trees, I had no idea what anime was back then(which is funny since now I'm a regular lurker in the A/M/C and my avatar is a cosplay). Now I usually hang out around guilds, A/M/C and sometimes I lurk in the role-play sub-forum (although I never joined a RP there). As for how I got gold, I used to bump and answer quizzes then buy MCs. Now I get my gold from randomly posting on the forums, or rarely BootyGrab. My avatar looked noobish for a very long time (I was madly in love with that ORLY hat, which was 17k back then) until I got into that cosplay thing. Now I make my cosplays on tektek then quest them (which I usually drop in the middle)

I "hung out" in the LD, once upon a time. It was just starting out too. Idk. I feel sort of bitter about that place now. Gone to the dogs >.>
Now I float lots of places. Mostly stick to the GCD. Would like the Writers forum...but you can run into some high and mighty assholes there for just not getting something one hundred percent correct =/
I distinctly remember I wore the yellow MEHtro shirt a lot and the Tundra combat boots. Once I was wealthy enough to buy the laurels (and I was ecstatic when I purchased those) added that to the outfit. Now I think I'm better at pairing things. I like the red/black/gold scheme, whether or not it's been done to death.
Earned gold by posting. Did some quizzes but never managed to finish one of them. Got distracted pretty easily. Now I try a little bit of everything but it's mostly booty grab.
Spent money: Small things. Like I said, the green laurels was a big purchase for me xD
Now I find myself going a lot higher in price range. My Hyde's Bloodlust came to about 2.6 mil and took FOREVER. At least I'm more patient/ less distracted now?
The other two things that have changed would be the guilds I spent time in and how many times I changed my profile. Long story short: got involved in one guild but wasn't too present, that one exploded which means drama = bad s**t, then got much closer in a spin off guild which also sort of fell a part (care more about this one than the others), then another one which just sort of...meh...which finally went to another forum that has sadly gone dead as well.
On the profile front, the one I have now I've pretty much fallen in love with. It's awesome. Go see it's awesomeness. It compels you.

I know I have definitely changed since I first joined back in 07.
I use to spend most of my times fishing or in towns
My avatars were always very different, usually I have my friends do my avis XD my first account actually got banned -.- but my old account is ~1lucky1~
I mainly earned gold by shaking the bushes and trees around towns or playing games, I usually just fished or played jigsaw
I put my gold usually towards friends and then to whatever my dream avi is at that moment, that actually stayed the same cause its still what I do now
When I first started I wasn't really into guilds too much but I eventually over time started joining a few and so far Burn has been my favorite!

Let's see... Way, way back when, in 2003, I flatly ignored forums for anything aside from getting gold. I don't know why. Maybe it was just that there were so many that I didn't know where to start. I just spammed the CB for gold, which was slow work, but eventually through effort and gift-boxes, I got my first main avatar... It was pretty much like this. I went on a long haitus. I don't remember the dates, but when I came back, they had Towns... And I was hooked all over again. I hung out there, all the time. Later, I remember I dropped the bandages in favor or the wraith cloak... No one would ever see my face, though since that was the only item that I remember changing, I don't think that another picture is warranted. The next big change that I remember was when Christmas came around and they released those long bull horns. I liked they way that they worked with the skull helmet, so I got on board with that combination. Was it the Halloween before that they released the tailcoats and cravats? I'm not sure, but I do remember that I spent a decent amount of time like this. By this point the sketchbook had also been added. I remember I held it out in front of me (not as pictured, but such is tektek) and I remember when people asked me what I was reading, I would tell them "I'm reading the bible backwards. I'm trying to summon something..." Eventually, I got to be very taken with my fedora, and this was before Gaia actually had any. The nearest substitute was the gunner hat, seen below, which I allowed to replace my old headgear. At this point, I did away with the undercoat, opting for a somewhat fleshier look. It wasn't my usual style, but it was well enough in keeping with the somewhat if a ladies-man reputation he had begun to garner, at least in small circles. Oh, also added here is the belt, but it was actually there for some time, earlier. The next biggest change was buying my first ever MC, the Shadow Spirit. It was a definite favorite. At around this point, I think that I noticed that the skull hairpin worked pretty nicely with the hat that I wore. These may be few and small changes, but the next update is much bigger. I have no idea which of these came in what order, but I started to go a little MC crazy. They all started to seem so much more... Attainable, after I actually bought one. Now I'm unsure about a lot of things, but this one is taken pretty directly from the time they had that QOOP promotion. Does anyone else remember that? I had a disposable income and a love for my avatar that moved me to spend $20 on a shirt. It's white, so I hardly ever wear it, but if nothing else, nothing else at all, it serves as a snapshot in time. This one I am certain of. I liked that these pants didn't ride so low and it showed less tummy. I decided that the gold showed wealth and by that time I had indeed decided that Matasoga had -some- draconic blood... Though it seems to me that the headfins must have showed up sooner, even though they aren't pictured before now. I don't want to risk losing this much, so to be continued....

Pretty much the same, but cheaper.

I shook bushes and trees and played the mini games. Now I go straight for zOMG when I need money.

Clothes and stuff, still do.

I was a dark elf for a looooooooong time. I may revisit that sometime.

I don't think I've changed at all since I joined gaiaonline. I joined BURN long longggg time ago and now I'm crew and posting around as always. I prefer my avatars to have a little twist. I usually don't spend my gold on anything, i give them away in contests and for bumpers/advertisers.

I was and still am fairly anti-social on this site. (I still have less than 5k forum posts collected in like.... 6.5 years. So. That tells you something.) Below is an image from a little more than two years after I joined; this was my fourth account.

In color, that avvie would be...
I mean, WHAT is that?! Man, I loved that Demonbow! And I'm still using generally the same color scheme. I'm also hanging out with many of the same people, the ones still on the site anyway. I have more gold, and I give more of it away. The Chatterbox still terrifies me.
